Not a scientific test but I just got home and plugged in my iPhoneX into the apple brand 12W usb to Lightning. Went from 21W to 19-16Watts and charging. Charged for about 15mins got 12% charge. Did the same with the 29W adapter and usb-c to lightning. Same amount of time. About the same 12% in 15mins. Granted if I used the usb charger that would take forever. But I would’ve thought it would still be faster than the “old” fast charge of the 12watt adapter.

Did you use Apples Usb-c to lightning cable? I tested the one I got from Amazon it charged about the same as the regular lightning cable with the 12w adapter. So fast charging doesn’t work on non Apple cables. I’ll probably pick up a pair sometime soon to enjoy the fast charging.

I got AUKEY's 46W PD 3.0 wall charger for my 8, see how this works out when the cable comes in! Says regular USB outputs at 5V/2.1A like the 10W iPad charger I have.

I just got this charger and it works really fast with Apples USB c to lighting cable.

k 45% battery on iPhoneX. Using the 12watt Apple charger, it charges ~21watts. Then I tried the 21watt USB-C charger. This time it charged at 34watts. So it went from 45% to 52% charged in ~4mins. And current went from 34watts to 29watts. So I guess it does make a difference. I'll check it in about 15mins to see where I'm at.

I thought the most iPhone X will ever ask for is 18w with the apple usb-c cable and proper PD 3.0 charger so how are you getting yours to charge at 34-29 watts?

Not sure. I forgot all my electronics knowledge school. lol. I think it's watt per amps. I'm using a wattage meter on the outlet. so it's just showing me the wattage it's drawing. But not the amps.

Have you bought and tested them?
Do they charge at the same rate as Apple 29W USB-C charger with Apple USB-C to Lightning cable? Or do they only charge at the same rate as Apple 12W USB charger with the stock USB-Lightning cable?
Thats what I am asking homie?

The key specs you want to look for at 9v at 2amp (18w) and 14.v at 2amp (29w) then it'll do both, most likely cheaper than the Apple one.

One of my best recommendations is this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Macally-HO...id=1510854179&sr=1-1&keywords=macally+charger

A bunch of 5v 2.4amp USBs for up to 12w charging of normal devices and then enough to fast charge iPhone X, iPad Pros at full speed - and MacBook and 13" MacBook Pro. It'll even charge my 15" MacBook Pro during use quite easily.

I found this charger, which I believe is the Macally charger, rebranded. And for only $30 would be a great value if it works for fast charging.
