I have a 2011 iMac and just bought an epson nx420 printer (from Apple) and every time i plug it into my usb port i get this error message..

"Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled."

Any ideas on a fix? Searched around and couldnt find any answers regarding a printer. This is the only thing I have plugged into the 4 usb ports on the iMac.

Did you plug in the printer's power supply? I don't know of a USB powered printer.

Don't plug it into the keyboard, but into the computer.
