Hello, what the latest update on this? I have Xbox series X and Ultrafine 4k 24 inch monitor

I received the adapter @PCuser214 and @TasuyaKen2 were referring to a few months back to use with my PS5. Did not work for me on my LG UltraFine 24MD4KL monitor. I tried a Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C 3.1 gen 2 cable as well as tried plugging in a power supply. However, all attempts failed to turn my monitor on. Not sure what else to try....oh well I guess.

I tried tracking down an easy yes/no answer within various forums and threads only to be found with the answer of "maybe" and complicated setups.

Upon my research in threads, they have led me to these three options:

I bought the SIIG cable to use with my Xbox Series X and 22" LG UltraFine Display... by default it showed that I could only do 720p. However, if you use the Advanced settings I could pick 1080p at 120Hz or 1440p at 60Hz! ?

Xbox > Settings> General > TV & Display options
You’ll see a menu that shows Display, Setup and Advanced.
Navigate to Advanced > video fidelity & overscan > overrides
In overrides, select HDMI and “use manual settings”
Then you can change the display resolution to 1080p and 120Hz or 1440p at 60Hz.

So the answer is Yes you can (with limitations of what theadapterss above can output)
I bought a Belkin USB-C Video Adapter for my Xbox and when I plug it into the display port while the Xbox is on the monitor won't even turn on. Any suggestions?

I have successfully been able to do this with my PS4 Pro, it should also work for the PS5 I hope, I’ll test that soon. (Edit: it also works for the PS5)

I used these to make it happen with the EDID set to green (4K 60hz).
1 GoFanco Pro-HD2DP HDMI2.0 to DP1.2 converter
2 Bi-Directional DisplayPort to USB C Cable
Finally got it to work on my LG UltraFine 24MD4KL monitor. I recommend using @Recscue method above that he posted in another thread.

@Sneakypickle Try the method mentioned above. This has been the only method that has worked for me.
