for the LAST time. you have no 3G Logo BECAUSE there is no 3G signal where you are!.
Not necessarily - I ported my number yesterday and had no 3G logo until I turned my phone off and on again. I could happily make calls and receive texts but could not receive data until switching the phone off and on. So instead of using capital letters, why not try helpful suggestions?

Whats your point? You couldnt get data because it wasnt connected to 3g, hence no logo. so u turn it off and on and it connects to 3g and u get data. You kinda just prooved what i said.

You said there was no 3G signal where the guy was. I proved :)rolleyes:) that occasionally the 3G logo will not appear on the screen even though you are in a 3G area - in my case it was because my old number had just been ported to the SIM in my iPhone and it required the phone to be restarted to connect to data services.
Your unhelpful comment was:
for the LAST time. you have no 3G Logo BECAUSE there is no 3G signal where you are! Mobile phone work from the cellular signals, 3g is a type of signal and data connection, when your not in the converage area, there will be NO 3G logo, have u not tryed going into city centres with it yet?
So switching my phone off and on caused O2 to build some 3G masts in my city and start sending out a 3G signal, all within 30 seconds did it?
Don't use such a patronising tone unless you know what you're talking about.
