Using Airport Extreme as a wireless adaptor

For free internet, I would just buy my friend a used Airport extreme router. You could probably resell it for the same amount once you don't need it anymore.

While I agree with you, I do not understand why you quoted me instead of OP. That being said, OP can either replace the neighbor's router or use an Express instead.
