Using iMac as Stand alone Monitor for Windows laptop?

I have a Windows 7 laptop which I use for my work purpose. I am planning to buy an iMac 27" and use it for my personal use.

Just curious to find out if I can use the iMac as a stand alone monitor for my Windows Laptop as an extended display?
