Hopefully the side stainless steel frame won’t get scratched too much on the Space Gray. I do plan to get one of those skins but only use the parts for the exposed frame.

Does it feel as invisible as it looks, in the hand? But is it solid enough to not feel cheap? & does the matt backing do a good job at repelling fingerprints?

Yeah I wouldn't have minded if the sides came up a bit higher to cover the bezels, but then you lose the feel of a near naked phone. Any other photos of the sides (& top/bottom) would be great....I know, I know....I'm asking a bit much....lol. Thanks.

), would a normal sized (not full edge to edge, but not a smaller, 'case friendly' type either) screen protector work? Actually looking at photos again, an edge to edge screen may fit?

1. Yep, it feels as invisible as it looks, especially since both left and right sides are not covered.
2. It does feel pretty solid and quality is similar to other Spigen and Ringke cases I have for the older iPhones.
3. The backing helps w/ the grip and unless your have oily fingers, you can't really see the fingerprints.
4. I'm using the iCarez screen protector (white box). It's about 0.5mm wider on each side when compared to the iCarez in red box. Fits really well.
5. As for photos, I'll take them when I get a chance.

No issue w/ Face ID or blurry photos. I've also tried those that have the cutouts but they collect too much dust.

I ordered yesterday and got shipping confirmation today. Yeah, I plan to use it with a distal union wallet case for travel, going out etc. Daily work use I'll go with just the edges.

I have the clear version and it’s fantastic. No dust collecting anywhere and no scratches on the back at all.
I got the Utomic edge (black) and the snap case (cloud white) and I think it looks really good. I used the Utomic edge on my iPhone 7 plus and I was very confident on how it protected my phone, but since the iPhone X is glass on both sides I am still not confident enough to use it all the time without the snap case. Today it fell from my locker at the gym, maybe 4.5-5ft, and nothing happened to the phone so I'm raising that confidence

How's this case treating your stainless steel edges? Any scratches? & is it still your daily case?
I have the white phone with stainless steel, so hopefully more resistant to scratches than the space grey version, and I have noticed some scuff marks from the "snap case", probably from putting it and removing it frequently, so I ended up removing it and I'm just being extra careful with the phone. I still love the edges, it's as minimalistic as you can go, and still no damage anywhere other than those scuff marks, I'm attaching a picture of what I mean, it may not be very easy to see but hopefully you can notice them.
I may try to buff them out later and see if that takes care of the issue, but in general I'm happy with the edge case, not so much with the snap case

The case I was originally asking for (which there probably should be a seperate thread for) is the DesignSkin 'Corner' snap case. It's very similar to your snap case, just cheaper in price.

Here's an update for you from someone whose had the Utomic Edges on their space gray iPhone X.
Exchanged my Silver X for a Space Gray at the beginning of December and installed the black Edges on my space gray X. Initially I was really concerned about the space gray stainless steel edges getting scratched and looking horrible, but it turns out those concerns were for nothing. I just examined my X and after over a month of use and multiple drops there are zero scratches anywhere on the stainless steel. It looks flawless. And keep in mind I'm ONLY using the Edges, no screen protector or back cover. Edges only. These have really surpassed all my expectations, I've been very impressed.
One of them did start to wiggle a bit the other day so I emailed customer service and in less than 24 hours they had 5 new Edges sent out to me. Their customer service was fantastic, especially considering I emailed them during the weekend (and at night).
So far I have zero complaints, if you have any questions let me know.

The adhesive just doesn’t stand up over time. The Edges will wiggle and fall off. Great minimalist concept but every month or two you’ll have to replace them. For the money, there are much better minimalist cases.

Awful product. Edges easily come off. Totally snags when pulling phone out of pocket. Company doesn’t warrant against. Buyer beware.
Also, when I post this real review on Utomic Instagram, they block me. That’s awful customer service where Company can’t even address flaws head on.
