Has anyone ordered a Vaja Agenda case for the 6+?

Every iPhone I've ever owned has been in a Vaja case. Same for several generations of iPads.

I've always been happy with their products, with one exception. They have an iPad mini case that looks just like the Agenda case for the 6+, except bigger. I bought one for my iPad mini and then for my iPad Retina mini. I loved the one for the mini, but they changed designs slightly for the Retina. The older version of the case had a flap with magnets in it that kept the case closed. It worked great. The Retina version looks just like the Agenda--no flap. Supposedly there are magnets in the lid that hold the case closed without need for a flap. I didn't find that to be the situation.
The flap never stayed closed.

In fact, I broke one iPad Retina mini because it was dropped, and the flap opened. The screen hit the ground and cracked. I'm quite sure that if the flap had stayed shut the case wouldn't have broken. I sent the new case design back to Vaja.

I'm wondering how this case performs on the 6+. I don't want to order it until I hear if it's any better.

P.S. While I was typing this post, my 6+ was just delivered! Great timing!

Considering vaja agenda for 6+ as well.

Would also love to know if the lip is tall enough to protect the screen.

FYI, here's a photo that shows the difference in the two case variation for the iPad. The bottom is sleeker, but the lid never stayed shut. The top is just a bit less clean but the protection quotient goes up by a huge amount.

I am not familiar with the Agenda but if its anything like the Vaja iPhone 6 Grip then it has no lip at all… I have had a lot of Vaja products and they have all had a lip, until now… really not sure why they switched it :( I'd suggest you contact them through their site and ask them if you really want it.

You can see my review and pics here of that:

Thanks! Great pictures!
Very disappointing. I also think they used the LP frame. Sorry man.

Has anyone gotten a 6+ Vaja Grip or Grip LP?
Or has anyone else gotten a Vaja Grip for 6/6+ with a bigger lip?

Mine should be shipping out soon too. I also ordered the portenzo special edition white wallet case for my 6 plus. Never had a portenzo case, but i'm hoping i'm not disappointed.

Received it and love it. I don't know how to take a picture of it given that my phone is in the case. The only thing that is a "downside" is the price I paid. I can't quibble at all with the case quality, form factor, or any other element.

I'd love to see pictures; a Vaja Agenda was my 2nd choice. My 1st was a Calypso that has yet to materialize after 7 weeks.

Here's my attempt at some photos. They're not very good.

Thanks Tony. I appreciate the pictures; so much so that I think I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a Vaja.:)

A question: When everything is closed up, how much phone is left exposed?

On the bottom the corners are covered, but the bottom otherwise is open. The top is less open, but you can see the metal at the top, too. The area around the power button is also exposed.

The cover does a good job covering the screen, but it's not 100% perfect. A bit of the curve of the glass on the one edge is visible. My guess is that once the lid is opened and closed for a few days the leather will relax and this will be resolved.

In my photos the case looked blue with black speckles. It doesn't read that way to my eye. It is a textured interesting blue. It's what distinguishes it most (apart from the form factor) from the Apple leather cases in my view. It looks very much like a premium item. Based on my other Vaja purchases, this case will outlast my carrying of this phone. I can now put this device in my front pocket without worrying at all about it bending or about the screen being exposed. The case gives me the confidence to 'go naked' on the screen.

In response to someone who asked about delivery timeframe. I ordered the item on 9/28 and received it on 10/27. I can live with that. As I recall the first Vaja case I ever ordered took almost 90 days to come in.

I ordered mine on 9/24 and I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. I was told it was about to enter the last part of the manufacturing process. Do you have any problems with it staying closed?

How does it feel in your pocket? Bulky? Just right?

Nice case! Congrats! Does the cover stay closed? Is there a magnet to make it stay in place?

Feels fine in my pocket. There must be a magnet as when I flip it over it stays shut.

Is it me or did Vaja have an option for some shade of blue for the exterior of the Agenda in the Plain Bridge and Bridge-Caterina models? It seemed like they did a week ago when I checked the website, but now the only options in blue are for the Floater-Caterina model.
