Is it me or did Vaja have an option for some shade of blue for the exterior of the Agenda in the Plain Bridge and Bridge-Caterina models? It seemed like they did a week ago when I checked the website, but now the only options in blue are for the Floater-Caterina model.

I think you are right. I remember talking to my husband about the shade of the blue. He thought it was black.

In the Floater-Caterina section the color Mauve Wine is missing. That's the color I ordered for the outside and Aurora Pink for the inside.

EDIT: In the Floater-Caterina the Mandarin Orange is a new color, I think. I would have gotten that color if it had been available when I ordered.

I just got my case for the Iphone 6 Plus.

I cant say i am really happy. My case looks as though it is cut a fraction short.

Looking at Tonys his seems to cover the phone . Mine has roughly half of the phones border showing along the side and the bottom (of the front) but the top is covered.

Also it does have a magnet but doesnt turn the phone on and off .

i have attached a photo. Its difficult to see what i mean

Oh that's a bummer. I'm sure if you send vaja that photo they'll be happy to replace it.

Could you do me a favour and see how that magnet affects the compass? I use it a lot for maps. I'm not very good with orientation :p

The magnet isn't supposed to turn on and off the phone. The iPhone, AFAIK, doesn't have this feature. Only iPads. Also, contact Vaja. Their CS dept might be able to help.

Ouch. Yeah, that's different from mine. I have a small bit of what you have going on near the bottom, but the top half is covered much better.

Using my fingers, I can slide the lid over to where it should be. I'm thinking for the next week or so I might do that each evening, rest the phone on the screen, and put a light book or something on top of it. Maybe that will stretch the leather out.

Vaja's craftsmanship used to be lights-out fantastic, but that was back several iPhones ago when they weren't mainstream. As I've bought many cases and seen them become more widely known, I think their quality has gone down. It is still among the best, but with the old cases you were just amazed at how perfect and beautiful the case was. Now, they probably have to employ more craftsmen, and the quality has fallen off.

i dont use the compass very much however i just tried it in a few directions and it seems to read well. I couldnt see any issue at all with the magnet.

Thanks Tony for your comments.

I have contacted CS at Vaja and await their reply. I will update you all as and when.

Mine closes OK but it could be better. I think the flap has to stretch a bit by using it more and more and eventually it will close perfectly.

I will have to wait and see.

Vaja case...STILL waiting!

I ordered one of these Vaja cases on October 3rd...and am STILL waiting for it. There is NO phone number to call them. I am beginning to worry that maybe I was ripped off of 140.00! Anyone else have any problem with your order not coming?

I ordered mine september 26 and it is shipped today, so don't worry.

I placed my order on 9/24 and I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. I've been using an apple silicone case in the meantime.

That looks really nice. Is that the Floater leather on the outside? Is the bottom leather that wraps around the phone a lot thicker than the Apple leather case? Thx for info!

Is the design the same regardless of the leather choice? When I look at the customize screen and select the Floater leather, the picture of the back side of the case is different than with the other leather choices. It doesn't show the edge of the front flap along the right side and the bottom appears to be rounded. Must be an error, right?

Ordered 9/23..... Nothing.
Emailed them today to see what's up - response: they are
quality testing it, if approved it will ship...

Um if it's not approved then what??!! I'm not waiting another month+ for a case. Seriously WTH?

Ordered 09/24
Nothing yet. When I emailed them, I got the quality testing line too.

11/06/2014 Case arrived. I missed the FedEx shipping notice, so it was a surprise.

Yes it is the Floater Leather on the outside.

I really dont know, dont have the apple case to compare.
I think that Vaja is a bit thicker then the apple case.

Reading various posts here it looks like Vaja's quality has gone down.

I highly doubt this. They stand behind their products and customers as always.

About shipping delay problems, this is common with any case manufacturer after a highly anticipated launch of an iphone.

About the flaps not closing all the way, just like any leather product it takes a few days/weeks to break in. I've had Vaja products where I thought it wasn't cut quite properly and wasn't closing all the way but as always it resolved itself in a couple days.

Of course there will always be a rare defective product but they will take care of u after a couple emails with some pics.

I think when u are anticipating something vigorously, your expectations get set too high and disappointment is easily found. Patience and workin with customer service if necessary will end with the desired results 99% of the time I'm OCD and anal as many of u are and Vaja has always come through for me through many orders.

Just my 2 cents...

I contacted CS who replied quickly and explained that over time the flap will fit better as the leather stretches.

They suggested that I try and stretch the case a little by pulling it closed many times. It is showing some improvement and i would guess i am halfway there.

I will give it some more time and hopefully once the leather has stretched it will fit perfectly.

Its a good product but on the pricey side.
