The same happened to me also. Although Vaja is based in Argentina, this time the cases are being shipped from GA. I got mine in a week's time from GA to India.

My Agenda LP - Mammuth-Iceberg Green arrived today and it is ABSOLUTELY GREAT. What a case !
As soon i've my phone (tomorrow) i'll post some pictures, but what a quality. It's very slim and i see it already, with the 5 in the case it will be gorgeous

Vaja ivolution top iphone 5

I love this case! I have had a Vaja case for my 3GS, it lasted years, and looked great. I have an ivolution top for iphone 5, in Mammut. I couldn't wait for more stock at Vaja so I bought from a reseller (www.egalaxy.co.uk). Unfortunately, my case is falling apart. I have had it since January. The top clasp has split around the edges & the closing magnet has fallen out. It looks a bit silly and I can't find another magnet to fit so it doesn't close properly. Booooo!!

4 corner protection
redesigned eyelet for camera
new magnetic system built into case body
special cut-out on front flap for phone speaker so case can be used closed

Also with similar colors and leather to their Nuova Pelle folio style cases that came out a few months ago.

Best of both styles combined.... anyone ordered yet?

I'm not buying a vaja case until they get rid of the magnets.

(No, while a magnet won't hurt the iphone, it can erase, for example, a creditcard magstrip over time. While a brief contact with a magnet might not affect the creditcard, sustained contact over time can erase the magstrip -- like how a card might be pressed up against the case/magnet in your pocket for a long time. No, don't try this at home unless you want an erased card.)

Not the wallet -- phone and loose credit card and ID. The CC and ID magstrips could sometimes end up near a magnet on the case, if there was one.

I will say that vaja produces some very nice cases but they're expensive. I've owned them in the past but I'm not a fan of the flip cases any longer

I have been waiting for a long time for Vaja to revise that corner cut of the grip. They finally have made it normal. Placed and order for the Durango and Birch yesterday.

Received the London tan color case last week, and have been enjoying using it quite a lot. They've slimmed it down substantially compared to the previous version of the case. The Bridge leather is great to feel and look at. The tan color I have is already developing a nice patina and burnished look. here are some pics:

In case they don't come out with better products, does anyone have any recommendations for alternative Vaja-type leather cases? I hope Vaja comes out with more cases/colors, but the current set is disappointing.

I've recently got my iPhone leather cases from Story Leather, they do pretty much the same thing that Vaja offers, but they have more variety of leather and caters to more devices: www.storyleather.com

Thanks. They look nice, but they still seem to use magnetic clasps, which is the same issue that I have with vaja.

I just called their customer support, essentially you can request for a non-magnetic closure or build one with no closure. They even mentioned that some customers request for velcro! but velcro would seem tacky imo

They seem to be pretty flexible in terms of their custom made process.
