Verdict on 10.9.2: Get it or stick with 10.9.1?

Upgrading to 10.9.2 is a must, regardless of any bugs it may come up with, or any performance hit, because 10.9.2 fixes the SSL "gotofail" bug.

Security is paramount, everything else is secondary.
 
Nope. Wait until 10.9.3.

10.9.2 was very rough around the edges and introduced some issues. Yes, the included security enhancements may make it worth the upgrade, but if you're careful and don't go to any weird websites, you should be OK until 10.9.3.

Just my 2 cents. 10.9.2 was so buggy that I ended up going straight back to 10.8.5.
