I had just missed the cutoff for 9/21 by 10 minutes so mine is due to ship (or arrive) on the 26th depending in which page you read of theirs. The good thing is it gives me time to get my cases, protectors, etc in before it arrives.
 
Look i dont care about what u say its all b.s i know mistakes happen but when they send the confirmation showing the delivery date of 9/21 and then change it without any notification this is a problem they are not even saying oops so sorry. Btw i am paying full price for 1 of the phones and the others are on upgrade its not the money its the point. Let me tell you all its not that 9/26 is a big problem its the point. They dont care thats the point and they dont have to care because they are verizon.

They did give you notification obviously. Ship date was 9/21, Ship date is now 9/26. What else do you want? Some butt kissing?
 
As a lawyer, if anyone ever came to my office with a ridiculous issue like this I would laugh and tell them to GTFO. Verizon didn't wrong you, they can't control Apple's supply. So you want to waste taxpayers' money by filing a lawsuit, have innocent workers fired over something beyond their control, waste the BBB's time when they could be dealing with serious cases, and waste Verizon CS time over something they have no control over.

Centurion card use to be exclusive way back in the day. Not anymore as they hand them out like water.

Well there goes an item off my bucket list..... I always thought it would be cool to have a black card, but now it sounds like it's just like having a "gold card" back in the 80's and 90's....

How do I know this? Because I've really had a Centurion card and I know for a fact that based on your posts alone, people like you would never qualify for an invitation and never will.

Just chill and wait until 9/26 but the Verizon website isn't the best for tracking. I've seen many people who had a date go to 10/5 and then got tracking numbers for phones arriving tomorrow.

You are overreacting and Verizon has not 'wronged' you. They may have made a mistake in saying that everyone who ordered before 9am EST will get a phone on 9/21 but that doesn't mean you are wronged.

(And personally, if I worked in CS and you acted like this, I would've 'accidentally' bumped you to the end of the line).

I ordered about 11am on 9/14, on my Verizon order status page, it says I won't get it until 9/26, but I talked to my Verizon (the one that helped me order it in store) says that on "his end" of the system that it says it will be delivered tomorrow. I have no idea. He seemed like he wouldn't lie to me about something like that because he has worked with my family and I several times. I'm not sure if i believe him or not. What do you think? He also says for me to text him early tomorrow morning and he will let me know my tracking number.

Just based from the Verizon thread, Verizon doesn't seem to have the best tracking and their system was throwing people into ship dates after 9/21 just prior to them getting tracking numbers. I don't know why it is so screwy but it seems like a real possibility to get your phone tomorrow.

I hope you're right. I work as a server and because I thought I'd get my phone tomorrow, I took off the lunch shift because I have to drive and hour and back to my mom's address and go get it (I live in an apartment complex, and I've had a couple of birthday cards go missing, so I don't trust it) so when I told my Verizon guy that he said he would go into their system (I think he's a manager or something) and check for me. He said that they show it will come tomorrow, but I have had no change to my status since day 1. So I have no idea what to think. :confused:
 
Lots of orders were placed I'm sure there will be A LOT of people not getting on launch day. Nothing verizon can do about it. Just wait a few days
