The catch is you're under contract with them for two more years. But if you were going to do that anyway and you have an iphone 4 laying around it's a great deal. I just did it today and I didnt even buy my iPhone 6 Plus directly from Verizon, lots of missinformation going around that you have to order the phone from verizon to qualify.

Actually, you can get an iPhone 6 off contract. I am getting $250 for my iPhone 5, not going on a contract.

I don't think you have to agree to a two year contract in you pay full price for the iPhone 6/6 plus, as someone stated in one of the posts above.

Yea you're right cause a friend of mine went with me to grab the phones and he bought it through the Edge program and was able to trade his phone in.

My experience is that the in-store instant $199 trade-in only applies if they have the iPhones in stock. I've been told that I would have to pay full price for the iPhone 6 then get the $199 at a later date after I send in my 4S. I want the instant $199 off of the iPhone 6 64gb but doesn't look that's going to happen.

Damn, that's the same thing I've been hearing (no $200 instant credit unless iPhone is in stock) and everyone around me is sold out.
