Ordered a 128GB Jet Black 7 Plus at 2:51 AM EST. Still processing with no charge to CC as of yet. I've actually had second thoughts on the plus and want to grab the regular 7, but I'm too afraid Verizon would screw it up (and I don't want to wait at the back of the line)
To be honest at this point I am surprised Samsung doesn't ship us all phones just to prove they can...
That was the one I saw this morning on Apple. Gone in 4 minutes.

Still no movement.

My status on the automated system says pending shipment but sites say processing! but i do not know if it said pending shipment the day i made the preorder so i don't know if that changed from anything

Hmm so just called 611 and checked the "order status". It says my order shipped with an expected two day delivery. I asked for the tracking number and it says I can find that on the website. I'd suggest calling.
611 says "Pending Shipment" for my 7+ JB 128 but it also says that it should ship by 9/23 so it seems like a canned response that is just going off what my order originally said when I placed it.
Its got to be soon right? I'm hoping we see movement today, I'm heading out of town for a while Thursday.
Tell me about it. I'm actually coming from the Note 7, and I loved it. The recall was a last straw for me though. But this wait is annoying, and now the new Note 7's with the fixed battery are coming out..
does anyone know if fed ex will just hold the package as soon as they get it? or do they have to try to deliver first? i have class tom and wont be able to be home but i can just pick it up tonight as soon as they get it?

My plan is no movement tonight and I will hit up Apples site at 12:01 and attempt to reserve again - If thats a no go I will pay my bill and just wait it out. I really want a JB I would settle for BLACK.

I still can't confirm that COMPLETED means anything... Our business account has Overnight shipping included, but I have no tracking information.
When the order says COMPLETED, that means they have a phone in hand right? Is there a chance I get a phone today at work despite them never putting in the tracking info?

Verizon has to come up with a better system, hopefully they realize they flopped this release. Not all their fault of course, Apple is just as guilty.
I agree with that assessment. It seems this go around stock was WAY more intermittent. I can't recall so many pre orders not being filled and being filled so erratically before. Time of order didn't matter we have proved that here, geographic location also seemed not to matter. Total crap shoot when people got charged and then shipped. I also can't recall Apple Stores not having any stock on Friday but then Saturday and Sunday having a decent supply of stock... seems odd on several fronts this go around. I think next year I will skip the pre order and stand in line, this has been a true debacle.
I have NEVER missed a launch day due to Verizon like this... Unfortunately after this I am wondering if it's worth it to continue using them or if it makes more sense to use Apple next time.
