Hmm so just called 611 and checked the "order status". It says my order shipped with an expected two day delivery. I asked for the tracking number and it says I can find that on the website. I'd suggest calling.


Hey, my cc was charged yesterday and all the page says is expected ship date but didn't say what courier or tracking number, it's almost been an entire day. It says "Your order has been sent to warehouse for shipment". When you called did u speak to someone too? Or just the 611? I just don't want to not be home when they deliver and it get sent back to the courier.
 
I have NEVER missed a launch day due to Verizon like this... Unfortunately after this I am wondering if it's worth it to continue using them or if it makes more sense to use Apple next time.

How long did it take before tracking did anything?

I got tracking info, but not registered in UPS's system. The tracking number has been showing in VZW for about 12 hrs.
 
I think it is desperately wishful thinking it comes tomorrow.... but as long as the tracking number shows something I'll chill out.

I just got off the phone with them. When I dialed 611 and said "order status", it asked me to confirm my order #, which I did. Then it stated that my order had shipped with an expected delivery date of 2 business days. It couldn't provide a tracking number though. I called verizon and the woman said she thinks it likely shipped, but that they just haven't received a tracking number from the carrier yet. I think this makes sense because that's how it typically works with most deliveries.
 
So question... I ordered 2 phones but the email I literally just got from VZW on shows one of them. Did both ship? Anyone else order two can tell me if VZW's email listed both phone? Why is this process so messed up?!?
 
So what are we at now? 10 days after the preorder? I just want to know one thing...where is my phone at this exact moment???
 
I still can't confirm that COMPLETED means anything... Our business account has Overnight shipping included, but I have no tracking information.

When the order says COMPLETED, that means they have a phone in hand right? Is there a chance I get a phone today at work despite them never putting in the tracking info?

I can tell you this. Business account here and my wife's 256 rose gold 7+ went from pending to completed on Saturday. Got tracking info overnight with a ship date of today. Currently on the FedEx truck for delivery.

My 256 MB 7+ still sits in pending...

8am CST order time for both.

I don't understand the argument that they underestimated the Jet Black color that they chose to primarily be the face of the new line of phones. I understand it is a more complicated and timely manufacturing process, but come on, their marketing dept and leadership team obviously chose this color as the face of the marketing campaign which pushes the demand for it. It's no coincidence its the only iPhone 7 color you see on their web page without having to look for the other colors let alone it was the first image they showed at the keynote. I do agree with the argument that they underestimated the demand for the entire line, though it's hard to tell because that is said every year with the launch of any iPhone.

Anyway, stalling until I see any kind of movement for the 7+ JB 256 I ordered with 9/28 ship date that is still "processing".

Man I wish they'd send me my tracking info. I opened a chat to ask and this is what they said:

BRYANT: No tracking as of yet, but it does look like the warehouse is in the process of completing orders for your batch which means we have received the stock. They should be arriving on time for your expected date of 9/23.
Me: Yeah, it says "Completed" which in the past has meant it shipped. Is that not the same this time?
BRYANT: Completed would indicate the warehouse has completed their packaging of your order. Since this was a pre-order and not a standard order, they are shipped in batches rather than individually.
 
just got a tracking number for my 128gb silver 7 plus ordered around 9:30 a.m. ET on the 9th. originally had a ship date of 9/28.


So did I. Same phone. My card was charged yesterday. Original estimated ship date was 9/28.

I got shipping information from FedEx Delivery manager. Verizon's order status page still hasn't updated.

Hey, for those of you that have gone to pick up another phone at Apple while waiting for your Verizon shipment to come in...

Are you planning on returning the phone that you preordered when it ships? How will that work since Verizon's return policy says 14 days after purchase...and we're at 10 days...

Ugh I haven't seen ANY movement since my confirm email came in @ 3:31AM EST. Two (silver/black) 128GB plus models were ordered together. First time ever not getting this phone on launch day, only thing I noticed was a $1 charge for each phone on my CC to validate the card is accepting charges

I am still waiting on my 7+ Jet Black 256 with email confirmation at 3:19am EST. Still says 9-28 since day one.

I would wait to see what your tracking number says when you get it, that's what I am planning on doing so that I can be there when it arrives. Go birds.

Tried it today and actually got a status which was "pending shipment". Is this just another inconsistent way of saying "processing"? Anyone have more insight to the automated responses?

I say inconsistent because there are multiple avenues to check order status with Verizon which all have their differences.

same thing i got... I am wondering if they have stock of my phone, it just hasn't been packaged yet.
 
Update mines at my local facility. Not technically due at my crib until tomorrow according to the site but since we're after launch date there should be nothing stopping FedEx from bringing my son home to me. (Hopefully pls FedEx lol)


I'm in the same boat. Unfortunately, my experience with FedEx has been that they will let it sit in the sort facility and not move the delivery along.
 
Wondering if I should have just ordered the 256 JB + instead of the 128, or are both sizes not shipping?
 
just called Verizon and cancelled my preorder... come 6:30 i will have my iphone 7.... she also said i can get upgrade fee waived if i call after it shows up on my bill...
