I'm a business order, so don't know how that affects the rest of you, but I talked to a business rep this morning. I order a Matte Black 7+ 128GB for myself and a Silver 7 128 GB for a coworker. The regular 7 has shipped. The rep said all the Plus models have tremendous demand and a 9/28 delivery but they were working to beat that. They definitely have a lack of plus models she said. My order shows Awaiting Inventory so I am hoping some models are being made/shipped as we speak. I ordered at 3:17 AM EST.

i was able to preorder about two hours before the 3am preorder time on Friday through the Verizon app. My wife's 7 has shipped.. But my 128 black plus still processing but I do have an expected ship date of 9/16

This is the earliest I've seen on these forums for a plus that isn't rose gold.

Agree. Thanks adammull for the information. I'm also a business customer and the biz website is even more opaque than the consumer one. All ours says is item not in inventory and will be updated later.

The only caveat I'd like to add here is in my experience, Verizon has separate allocations of stock for business customers vs consumers. I've seen business customers that order the next morning get phones before people that got up in the middle of the night. I've also seen business customers get shafted b/c the phone hours and website live hours can be different.

So take business deliveries with a grain of salt.

Expected delivery date of 9/28

She didn't see any change or different dates in my order, but she had "general" dates in October for those 2 models. She said to go by the date in your confirmation email.

She also put a note in my account to refund the 2 $20 upgrade fees after they get charged in my credit card. She said you shouldn't pay those if you upgraded online.

Asked her about buying in store on Friday if they just happen to have the 2 models I want. She said the store should be able to cancel the preorder and sell you the ones in store. Not holding my breath on any Pluses being in stock on Friday, though.
 
I hate waiting!! I ordered a 256gb jet black iPhone 7 plus! I ordered at like 310-315 when I was actually shown the option on Verizon. I got the email for confirm at 330am. Stating delivery before the 28th. When I look on Verizon on my account says delivered by the 28th and if I click the link on the email states ships on the 28th. I am hoping for Friday to get it. But yeah I mostly likely be not getting it!!

she specifically said they could cancel in store? I've had two store reps tell me i cant do that

Very close order time, Same phone, and same date--- lets wait together since we both hate it :mad::(
 
Business Customer- 2 Iphone 7 + 256GB- one ordered at 3:09am EST online and one ordered at 3:40AM EST online, also a Jet black 7 - 256GB ordered online at 3:37 am. All show 9/23 delivery date - never received a confirmation email.

One thing is clear, you can absolutely never trust anything a verizon rep tells you. I've read and heard completely contradictory answers to the same question a million times. It appears to me that some of us with a 9/23 date for your plus have a chance in 9/16 delivery. Verizon must still not know exactly how many they are getting and when, so that explains nothing going on with the plus orders. You might not see any action until late thursday and still get it 9/16. If you have a 9/28 or later dats you are probably out of luck in regards to a 9/16 delivery. In years past people absolutely got screwed trying to cancel a preorder and then not being able to get a new phone in store since the preorder wouldnt be removed and there was no upgrade. Just because some CSR told you you could do it , does not mean that is true!

The stores and the phone reps never seem to be on the same page. But, yes, that is what she told me.

I would not even try it! I was told it would not let them give out the phone same day as canceling! Im all for doing that but if it don't let you then your screwed and verizon will not hold that phone for you. They are money hungry. So you would be out of a pre order and no phone in hand.

I kinda like waiting the 2-3 days it builds suspense and when it shows your so happy! But when you have no clue if you are going to get it early and all that urks me!

You know I was thinking about the preorder process. I was killing time on these forums and about 45 minutes before orders started someone said you can now order on the Verizon app.

So I investigated and the black 128 plus was showing 9/23 at that time. I decided to wait for the browser to open. I really regret it because the site was down. I would have got more sleep and ended up with the same day. I've never preordered so I was skeptical thinking: what's the catch to have a chance at being that early.

I find it odd at that time the phone still showed 9/23.

At any rate, I've accepted I gotta deal with this pink 5c another week.

This past weekend I thought had misplaced the card that I used to preorder my iPhone. I called in yesterday afternoon and was on hold for over an hour trying to change my method of payment to a card other that the one I thought I lost so that I could call the credit company and report it missing. After finally getting on with a CSR, and after being put on hold again so that she could get an "answer", she wanted to cancel the preorder and create a new one with the updated payment info.

Now that part made sense, but what didn't is that she said that creating a new order wouldn't delay me getting the phone and that I could still expect to get it on the same day. Now that was just ludicrous. So I politely declined for her to do anything and decided to search a little harder for my card.

Lo and behold, I found that Barclay Apple Rewards Visa tucked away under the living room sectional. Moral of the story? Keep up with your credit cards, and never trust advice from Verizon Wireless CSRs!

Pretty sure I did this last year. I don't remember cancelling my pre-order myself. I should add though, that I didn't get a ship date for launch day. Due to that, my credit card hadn't been charged yet.
 
FedEx app is now showing a scheduled shipment. I have nothing else coming from FedEx so I'm reasonably certain this is it... Verizon uses FedEx in my area

FedEx app is now showing a scheduled shipment. I have nothing else coming from FedEx so I'm reasonably certain this is it... Verizon uses FedEx in my area
How'd you get that? Did you have to sign up for anything with FedEx?
 
Piling on ... On a business account, pre-ordered 7+ 32GB Black Friday at 8:48 AM EST with deliver by 9/28 - was told by a rep that I have a pre-order confirmation, not a sales confirmation, and my order is in PRE status since then.

I have it for UPS. I had to make a account for ups and enter in info. They send me a email when i have something coming. Guess Fedex is doing the same thing.

Make an account then download the app and log in. If you have a package you'll get a note that shows up with your VERIZON ORDER NUMBER! BAAM!

(It does restrict the tracking details last I checked but at least you know it's in the system for VZW)
