Yea I wanted the sliver XL daily polarized with square lenses but I got shipped the sliver daily polarized round lenses
I'm curious about my ship date because it still hasn't changed from 9/23. Either Verizon has the phones already or the pressure is on at this point lol.
So anyone who ordered a JB with 9/23 seeing any kind of movement? It's been pretty quiet. I have a 9/28 and honestly at this point cannot tell if it is BS or not. I figure if the 9/23 date vzw is giving folks doesn't seem to be accurate, I may put more effort into other avenues if these dates are just complete nonsense.
Update on my shipping:
Fedex was supposed to deliver my phone today to my work address. I'm leaving for a week after 2 today and i wanted it delivered here so there was a chance I'd get it or if not it would be safe sitting in my office. I called Verizon and had them update Fedex, and updated Fedex twice. Everyone confirmed it would be delivered here.
Just got a tracking update that they held the phone for pickup in a city that is AN HOUR AND A HALF AWAY. It also happens to be in the opposite direction of the airport I am flying out of. I called to have it put on a truck and they can't do that because it will be sent out tomorrow now, when I'm gone.
Just needed to rant.

Sounds like you need to leave work even earlier and make that trip.
It's a cool idea. I wouldn't use it to be too serious simply because it's software bokeh and still looks fairly fake, but I think that will be solved in future updates. I may try to get a friend to model for me and compare it to my D810 with 50mm 1.8 that is about as close to the iPhone's lens that I currently own just to see the difference. That or possibly set up some bokeh tests with random objects.
Same here. I've got a Jet Black 128GB Plus waiting. 9/23 on link in confirmation email, 9/23 in My Verizon > Devices > My Orders. Still processing. Hoping to have it by this weekend...
I had a 128 Black Plus on pre-order. Ordered 09/13 and had a 10/23 ETA. For giggles, I check the apple site for my local store. They had a 128 Gold Plus in stock. Cancelled my VZW order, made my reservation at the apple store and bam. Shiny new iphone 7 Plus 2 hours later. While I was at the apple store, I saw several people get phones when they were "out of stock". The apple employee just said, "you are going to buy it out right? Let me check and see if there are any back there". They all got phones. I was even able to change my color just by asking if they possibly had any colors other than gold. The apple rep was like "let me check" 5 mins later... "You are in luck, a shipment just came in."

Yeah, I've seen some 256GB Gold Plus at Apple Stores within an hour of my location in Florida.
I'm almost ready to get a Gold myself.
But did you get another color? My local store is showing Rose Gold and Gold in stock right now. But I want at least Black

Yeah ended up going with white/silver. I had been on the fence when I pre-ordered and just went with black. It's always the safe choice right? When I was playing with the demo's in the store, I decided I wanted the white/silver. Both blacks were kinda androidy to me. My point was more that nothing but gold was available for pickup, but when I got there I had options. I did not ask about jet-black and I am all for being patient and getting what you want.
