at this point it's pretty obvious the demand for the 7+ is way more than Apple imagined. the better camera and RAM makes it more tempting to move up for 6/6s users.

Surely to goodness Apple had a clue. I just find it odd that when the site went live, the pluses were already at 9/23. It seems that is how it was with other carriers as well.

Same here I had that date as my original pre-order but verizon screwed up my pre-order, so now i got 3 different dates for all 3 of the phones I ordered, but one of the phones is supposed to come on the 23rd.
