Carrier Verizon 7 Plus Ship Yet? Post here...

Our verizon store has am overhang so I'm thinking a toasty sleeping nag, air mattress and a pillow and I'm golden lol. Or just take a couple juice packs, stop by Dunkin for coffee, and sit up all night til they open lol

Actually mine said and still says 9/16. On the website upon ordering, the email, and through my account. The only different date is if I click through the email link on get 9/28. So yeah actually I did think I would have it Friday. 128 RG btw.

would it be better to camp out at a Apple store or Verizon store ? I am looking for the 7+ Jet Black

When I ordered it said deliver 9/16, my confirmation email says the 16th and on my verizon account it says the 16th. Only thing that doesn't say the 16th is when I click "check my order status".

I stand corrected on the Date then for some of you, but I have seen a lot of people who originally had the 23rd or 28th hoping to get their phone Friday... I was quoted the 23rd, so thats what I am planning on. I can wait a week.

Probably an Apple store if you have the choice. I don't have one within 50 miles of me, and its inside a mall, whereas I can camp out DIRECTLY outside the front doors of Verizon. People would have to step over me to get in lol, though not lol because I feel like they would without a single hesitation.

This thinking has a lot to do with previous experience with Verizon preorders. Oftentimes they moved up the delivery date. Using this method of thinking, many of us thought that may be the case this year.

ya we have 5 apple stores in a 45 mile distance, so I may try the apple store then.

Don't camp at Verizon if you want a plus model. I did it last year and I wasted hours for nothing. Not one plus model in stock and I was number 2 in line. Only if they can guarantee stock the day before would I ever do that again. Best bet is an Apple Store and I already know that the line will be brutal.
Even with a ship date of 9/23 I'm glad I preordered.

Fair enough. You're probably right, and I'm probably far too lazy..and tired...to actually do that lol. This'll be the first time ever I don't have the new iPhone on launch day...my lovely husband convinced me to switch to a Galaxy S7 with him back in March and I can't stand it so I'm super antsy. I'd like to think if I had the 6S I would be a little more patient lol
[doublepost=1473809109][/doublepost]I just keep trying to remember the same thing happened with the Galaxy S7 edge in Silver...Verizon gave horror stories about ship dates, they were talking MONTHS to get them, my husband almost cancelled his preorder and changed to a different color/model, but he decided against it and after all the freaking out and calling Verizon and people peeing all over themselves, his phone was in his hand the same time mine was in mine, on launch day. At one point his delivery date actually changed to 1870. That's right, the year 1870. lol.
 
For the people who have 2 different dates, what do you think this means? (i.e. When I click "check order status" in my confirmation email, the Expected Ship Date is 9/23 but when I log in to Verizon online, the Deliver By Date is 10/5.) If I read that correctly, they plan to ship the phone 9/23 and deliver it by 10/5? I'm so confused at this point.
 
I hope my local VZW store has some Plus models in stock. Hopefully I can get word on stock on Thursday night...

Yea if no one gets a confirmed shipped for a plus tomorrow (end of day) I don't think plus users with Verizon going to see them. Sucks. When I ordered the 6 plus couple years ago it was 4pm like 13 hours after it started pre orders I had it release date! It was only the 16gb but still.
