I just called the customer service number and the automated voice told me I could find the info online lol. Thanks autobot...for nothing.
I'd be ok with a Monday delivery I suppose. Or even 9/23. I just wish they'd tell us for sure.

It told me the same thing, but I waited a second and it told me the status, did it just not say anything after for you guys?
That's what happens when I press 2 for the tracking number, it tells me that I can find it online and doesn't say anything more. But mine at least gave me the order status.
I actually ordered before midnight. someone in this forum posted a loophole in verizon iphone app that allows us to buy it like 30 minutes before midnight.

32gb 7 (non pluses) were shipped this week though.
I understand people who visit this forum are more hardcore and buys the 128gb model. I also had 1-2 week delay on the 16gb 6 plus 2 years ago for At&t.
Dammit I wish I had known about the loophole. Oh well. The fact that not a lot of people ordered them shouldn't we get them sooner than two weeks after launch? Just doesn't seem right.

Same here and I ordered at 6:30. Those that ordered before that time with the same phone should be first. I am also getting frustrated
I agree! I went with the 256 because i figured that was the least one to sell out the fastest in jet black! i hope i was not wrong!
I just got word from an inside Verizon guy that absolutely no 256 7 pluses with the 9/23 date will be delivered on this friday. I also got word from that same rep that all of the 256 7 pluses with 9/23 will be delivered this friday. Annddd I'm just kidding.
After it said I could find it online, it repeated the original "please tell us the reason for your call prompt".
I'm a new Verizon customer, set up my account with the pre order on 9/9. They shipped my return box which was due to arrive on Monday. USPS finally got it to my location today but I just tracked it again and it said unable to deliver due to insufficient address. My address on the confirmation email is correct except it was missing my Apartment number. I did see in an earlier post that the Address 2 line won't show up in confirmation emails but it's there if you put it there.
Since I don't have the phone yet I can't register to log in. I'm worried now that my phone shipment may get screwed up if Verizon can't put my correct address on a box. I hope it was just a dumb mail carrier. I'm afraid if I contact Verizon it could screw up my place in line since it seems they have a hard time changing orders.
Love doing the pre order every year but hate the stress. I always did the pre order through Apple in years past but couldn't pass up the $650 trade in.

Wow, this stuff is all crazy inconsistent. The only thing I could think of is checking your email to see if they tried to charge your card and it was blocked for whatever reason. I think their systems are just way overloaded with all these orders to process and assign

9/9 3:15am ET preorder of 7+ Black 128gig no charge and still in processing...
Just got off the phone with the Verizon store near my house. according to them they got their shipment of iPhone 7's & 7+'s a day earlier than usual, and she assured to me that they did not receive any Jet Black phones of either size. This leads me to believe that there are not going to be any Jet Blacks on release day what so ever.
question for the group, are ya'lls order confirmations saying specifically black or jet black/matte black?
