Carrier Verizon 7 Plus Ship Yet? Post here...

That doesn't make any sense to me. Why wait a week after the first group has received their phones to even ship the next batch? I wouldn't think a Company the size of apple is only putting out a batch per week and a half.

So obviously ordering through Apple would be the way to go. I also believe some of our 7+ phones were rerouted to Apple Upgrade members because of the screw up by Apple. Oh well, one week is not a huge deal. Just hoping to get it before I leave for Mexico next weekend where I can test the waterproofing in the ocean.

as someone that lives at the beach...stay away from salt water with the phone. If you happen to get salt water on it wash it off asp.

I am not going to point fingers. It seems like everyone having a hard time this year getting a phone.
 
I live in a small town in iowa. No plus models. Only 4 regular iphone7. I take this to mean it's a supply problem. Not a verizon problem!

Haha yea, I was just messing around. I'm typically way too careful with phones. And yes, it's not the biggest deal as there is no rhyme or reason this year. Seems like Apple kind of dropped the ball though.
 
I also received a UPS tracking email this morning. When I click on it, the tracking info hasn't been updated in their system yet. It says GROUND2, so I'm assuming I'll receive the phone on Monday or Tuesday.

Order confirmation 9/9 2:15am CST that had a delivery date of 9/28
Card was charged last night 9/15 sometime around 9pm, I think
Tracking email 6:05am 9/16 via UPS Ground

I'm in Texas.

She doesn't know what she's talking about... I had a 9/23 ship date since I ordered my phone at 12:06 AM PST 9/9 until last night. I now have a shipped date of 9/15, with a FedEx tracking number that says its shipping 2-day for arrival on 9/20. 256 GB 7+ black.

Mine said 9/23 all along- Got my trcking this morning and it will be here monday latest..so as usual, CSR is Wrong again.

I didn't think so! Sure hope she is wrong at least. Happy to see the 256 7+ in black getting some movement. If I get a charge/shipping notification today, I'd be pleased with that. A few days won't kill me.

I agree with you. Just some movement will be ok. I was going to wait till it came in to go get my case but now that I have the weekend i went ahead and ordered my case and tempered glass.

What case did you go with? I got a couple clear ones, but haven't decided if I want any. This is my first plus so I won't the least amount of bulk possible.

Alright ladies and gents,

Woke up today after dreaming that I got a notification overnight to no change. I pre-ordered the 128gb MB model within an hour of open time (upstate NY here).

I tried not to let it bother me but I was driving to work and got a little frustrated so I decided to call Verizon. I ended up speaking to literally THE NICEST rep I have ever spoken to from any company. She really emphasized and just chatted with me about the phone. Anyway, she said there is a chance I'll get it before 09/23, that it has happened before (as we've seen). She also stated that the 128gb models were the most popular. Also, according to her, the lawsuit against the Apple Upgrade Program might have something to do with short supply given to carrier customers.

Anyway, I'll update if I get one.

LOL, I didn't order until the 13th. The expected ship date for my JB 7+ 128GB is the day before Thanksgiving. While everyone is worried about getting theirs a few days later than expected, I'm very relaxed, since it's going to be two months...

I would agree. The 2 days between announcement and pre-order was the first problem. Why not the typical 10 days (Tuesday announcement, followed by pre-orders done Friday of the following week)? Most people would view me as an "apple guy", but you hit the nail on the head.

I always go with otter box defender or life proof. I am an EMT/FF and I'm always out in the rain and water and dropping it off of fire trucks and stuff and those two have protected every phone i have ever had. *Knock on wood* i have never broken a screen or even really scratched a phone because of it.
 
With all the little kids Apple has sh***ing out these iPhones in factories in China, you'd think they could over mass produce all of the new phones this weekend and make all their customers happy by next Friday. Smh
 
I got a tracking update for ups but nothing shows on ups website yet. It's weird because my 2 other phones that shipped already came FedEx. Why would they change my last 2 to ups? Hoping ups website updates soon
