Verizon just trolled me so hard I though it was my shipping email. How rude!!!!

The issues has to be with some type of unexpected production or supply chain issues. IMO, that's the only thing that could cause Apple to bungle this launch so badly.
 
7+ MB 128gb, 9/9 @~7amCT with 9/23 EDD. No cc charge and order still processing. Wasn't expecting any movement, especially ordering 4-5 hours later than most of y'all, but here's to hoping!

I always go with otter box defender or life proof. I am an EMT/FF and I'm always out in the rain and water and dropping it off of fire trucks and stuff and those two have protected every phone i have ever had. *Knock on wood* i have never broken a screen or even really scratched a phone because of it.

I gave up on Otter and Life. Past 2 years i been running spigen thin armor with a glass screen guard. worst drop i had was around 15 feet and landed on sidewalk to only have screen guard crack...
 
So i went to verizon's website and checked the status of my order and the deliver or shipping or what ever it was is gone completely like not even the title. just the phone and status
 
Alright ladies and gents,

Woke up today after dreaming that I got a notification overnight to no change. I pre-ordered the 128gb MB model within an hour of open time (upstate NY here).

I tried not to let it bother me but I was driving to work and got a little frustrated so I decided to call Verizon. I ended up speaking to literally THE NICEST rep I have ever spoken to from any company. She really emphasized and just chatted with me about the phone. Anyway, she said there is a chance I'll get it before 09/23, that it has happened before (as we've seen). She also stated that the 128gb models were the most popular. Also, according to her, the lawsuit against the Apple Upgrade Program might have something to do with short supply given to carrier customers.

Anyway, I'll update if I get one.

Same here, spoke to the nicest CSR ever. I'm from MA and still waiting for my 128gb 7+ MB as well!!! New England thing maybe? lol idk but She told me she's not too sure why my deliver by and ship date are both slated for 9/23 and she's searching for a definite answer. She's called me back once already so I could send her a screenshot of my confirmation email and is going to call me back again within the hour...she is really trying to find me an answer as to when I should get my phone! Another week won't be too bad i guess?
 
I just realized something! i figured i would let everyone know if they are in this spot to. I just went to pay my bill which is due the 23rd but i just wanted to pay in now to get it out of the way. I am on the edge program! so authorized $62 to pay the 50% off the phone with the pre order! These ********s are charging for the device fee again on new bill. So basically they will be getting a additional 30 bucks from me! Nope ill be calling to have them give me a credit off my bill and they will get the 62 i owe when they charge me card for the phone!

Exact same situation for me as well. Email at 4:05 this morning with shipping info, however it is not in the UPS system yet with delivery date info. Counting myself lucky though as the original ship date was 9-28. 7+ 128 gold.

I wonder if it is a northeast thing? I can't seem to find a reason to their ordering. Now that today seems to have passed I'm patient for next.. the only issue is I'll be out of town next Thursday through Monday so I really wanted it a bit earlier.

Sounds like you got a great rep too, its always nice to get great customer service.

Me either!! Not going to continue to pay off a phone when I technically made an agreement already to pay off the last 90 to get to 50% and trade it in for a new one!
 
I got the Glass+ from Zagg since the Sapphire isn't available to order yet.

I use to buy the "better" glass screen guards then i realize i crack them all the time and getting free replacement ones was a pain i just stop buying them. I buy 2 or 3 in a pack and most the time they will last 3 months before needed to be change. I just pick up 3 packs of 2 screen guards in each pack. Each pack was $8 bucks
 
So I called 3 local (well 45min drive) bestbuy and 4 Verizon stores. Only one that said they got 7+ was in mrtyle beach and it was sold within first mins of opening up. Man i don't think i ever

the free replacement has always been so easy of a process for me personally.
