Incorrect. I've seen Verizon ads for both, and AT&T ads for the iPhone.

The first of any of these that I've seen was a Verizon ad for the original iPad paired with a Novatel MiFi. Prior to that ad, I'd never seen any such thing.

I almost guarantee you that Apple created those ads for AT&T and Verizon, not the other way around. Notice that you never see the iPhone in a lineup with other smart phones.

AT&T ads don't mention the iPhone either. Only Apple can promote the iPhone, I believe. It's all part of their "control the entire ecosystem" mantra -- including the messaging.

well that's just not true...AT&T has plenty of iPhone ads that center around the ability to use voice and data simultaneously...Ive seen at least 6 different adverstisements

What I'm saying is that I bet Apple created those ads for AT&T. I can't find the link right now, but I'm pretty sure Apple controls all aspects of iPhone marketing.

There are PLENTY of AT&T commercials that don't mention the iPhone either. Remember all the Luke Wilson spots? Not a single mention of the iPhone. Why wouldn't they promote their top phone in such a huge campaign? Because Apple wouldn't let them.
