I checked my email today and got pushed to 10/5 (only 2 days) but like you I am have so much iPhone-envy. Hopefully as the days go on the days will continue to move up

Well I woke up to my phone shipped today with a delivery date of 9/28, via FedEx

Anyone else having trouble activating their new phone from a new SIM card with Verizon? I'm in chat with a service rep and he's tried three times...getting nowhere!

Yeah I have one 64GB iPhone 6S coming FedEx and one 128GB iPhone 6S+ coming UPS. And the race is on!

FedEx was delivered at 11:30am and ups 5:30PM here. FedEx wins. Until next time guys enjoy your phones!

Why not just use your old sim. Or was it not comparable? It's easier to just use your old one if possible.

Oh trust me...I tried every combination of activation possible. New SIM, old SIM, activating via Verizon website, chat, phone, iTunes, on three different WiFi connections plus cellular. After several hours with various customer service reps from Verizon and Apple, Apple ended up putting in a ticket to Engineering and they reset something. I was able to activate using all zeroes. Still not sure what the problem was, just glad they got me fixed up!

Just received FedEx tracking information. My phone will be delivered tomorrow. This is a week before its expected date. Which is funny because last night the expected date was pushed back from 10/5 to 10/7

That seems to be the going ship times now. But I would check the stores near you with the following link and see if you model comes in that you can pick up earlier.
