I'll pass. I'll just stick to my unlimited data plan and purchasing at full retail.
well, if you eligible for an upgrade, you can get subsidized price and keep UDP

How about if you buy phones full price, though? Would you be able to keep it forever then?
If the person you spoke with is correct, then the AT&T offer is better. You keep it until you change to a different plan/data amount.
Also, am I reading correctly that BYOD doesn't get the $25/line/month discount? Only Edge? My plan with AT&T right now gives the $25/line/month discount as long as it's not a subsidized contract.
Don't think I'll switch since coverage is about equal for me.
If I move my family unlimited data from ATT will verizon give me also unlimited data?

Is this true? I've have 2 lines that are eligible for upgrade on a UDP. I didn't want to pay full retail. Just wondering if they've changed the policy recently...
CANCELLED (for those with unlimited who were going to fall for this plan)-> http://www.droid-life.com/2014/10/0...network-optimization-of-unlimited-data-users/
From my last ATT Next upgrade, it didn't let me choose a plan. It just showed me my existing one.Talked to two people, both said this. The ATT plan may be the same thing. In Verizon's case, you have to select a plan when you upgrade, this promotional plan may not be available to select. I am assuming the upgrade process is the same with ATT, but please correct me if I am wrong.
