Ready to jump ship from AT&T!

I would be, if Sprint had rolled out LTE here in NYC already. AT&T crippling FaceTime may be the last straw for me. Hopefully "one more thing" is an announcement on September 12th from Tim Cook that T-Mobile is finally jumping on board the iPhone bandwagon, and that Sprint is flipping the switch on its LTE network in NYC on September 21!

Sold my 4S today, headed to the AT&T store to get a new phone for 30 days just to return it. Prolly get the GS3 just so I can say I have used and android but it will be going right back. :apple::apple::apple:

A trusted Verizon employee has just confirmed to TechCrunch that the carrier is having an all-staff vacation blackout from the dates of Friday, September 21 to the following Friday, September 30. You know what that means, right?

Wow! You mean the Droid Nexus Incredible Galaxy SIV Skyrocket 4G LTE with a 6" screen and stylus is finally launching? :D

Yea

do you think the carriers actually have info?

i think they just listen to rumors as well.

I work at best buy and no one from our mobile department knows anything until apple says so.

Thats because you work at best buy, not for the actual carriers

I missed something important! Can you explain further on the "AT&T crippling Face Time", please.

AT&T is requiring subscribers to get a Shared Data plan in order to use FaceTime over cellular. Those of us with unlimited or tiered individual data plans won't be able to use it.

If carriers did vacation blackouts for every new Android phone, they wouldn't be able to give any vacation time to their employees, EVER!! :p

If carriers did vacation blackouts for every new Android phone they'd always have too many employees in the store. (Not saying Android phones don't sell, obviously they do in big #s. I am saying large #s of people don't get excited about any one in particular to create the mass excitement that is an iOS update launch).
