Finally got my iPad LTE tonight. I didn't see LTE until I activated a plan. Somewhat surprised by that. But once activated, it worked fine and got pretty reasonable speeds.
 
Is everyone able to manage their Verizon account from the device itself? I keep getting a message telling me I can't and to call customer service if I have any questions...

If you signed up on the device, you should be able to manage it on the device. If Verizon activated you, you have to call them to manage your account.

edit - to be on topic.. I didn't get the "LTE" indicator until after I signed up.. but it only took about 3 minutes.. the benefit to waiting until this evening, I guess..
