Verizon iPads everywhere -- what's the deal?

so I don't have a AT&T iPad 2, is there a field to set the APN in the configuration? I'm just wondering how you would set that with another SIM from another operator (in the EU as an example).

The GSM "AT&T " iPad contains the APN settings for most all carriers in the world. It auto configures when you insert your sim.

Otherwise you can change apn settings in the network configuration anyway.

After checking for local availability, it seems there is a glut of White 32GB Verizon 3G iPad 2s. In fact, there's almost nothing else available locally.

Im not sure about you guys but I love my Verizon iPad!! My friend got his ATT model and his screen looks horrible compared to mines so Im happy

i have an att iphone so i picked up a verizon ipad 2. i mostly tether of the iphone 4 but figured if i was ever traveling and att was not working well, i can always fall back on the verizon data.
