I’ve been searching for a Verizon preorder thread, but haven’t come across one for Verizon. Is everyone ready for tomorrow’s keynote, so we can which leaks will finally be confirmed? What iPhone is everyone getting including color? I’m getting the 256GB/512GB 12 Pro Max in Silver.

Summary of what "news" there is so far:

Hey again! Looking to get a pro Max 256 GB. Was thinking blue but now im between silver and graphite also.

On another note, if anyone s trading in there phones to Verizon or Apple- how are you doing it? Waiting for your new one to arrive or what? Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm anxious/too excited this year.

Been waiting for the Verizon thread! I'm a perennial participant. Thanks Stacey

I’m new to Verizon coming from T-Mobile. I used to preorder and put down a large payment that was almost have of the device, so it was smarter just to pay it off before the year was up and upgrade all over again. This year I’m paying outright through Apple since I got the SE2020 for free through 24 device credits.

I am going from Tmobile to verizon this year too! I’m curious to see what launch day promos they may have...but I hate the 2 year payment plans.

I’ve now realized how much money I was wasting upgrading with T-Mobile. I was with them for 10 years so I thought I wouldn’t have to put down such a large Downpayment. For the X I had to put down $750 and ended up paying it off 3 months later. With Verizon I wouldn’t have to put anything down but my device payments would’ve been larger.

My sister took hers in person last year at the Apple Store and they gave her a gift card for the trade in that she used towards the 11 Pro Max. She just had to wait 2 weeks to get it. I’m sure others who took the same route received theirs on launch day.

How is everyone preordering their iPhone? For the first time I’m paying outright through the Apple Store app. I’m going to use my XS Max and SE2020 at the same time and hopefully I’ll get a launch day delivery.

I don’t know how accurate this article is but they have listed the prices for the iPhone 12.

Has to Be Accurate it’s CNET!

Buying it outright! It’s the best way to go. Sim free version.

Probably trade my XS Max. They ship you the new phone and packaging to shop the trade in. Atleast that’s how it was when I traded in my Pixel 3 XL for this XS Max

I hope I can track it from China. The Apple.com threads were always the most popular when it came to tracking. T-Mobile’s thread was boring after a while because our devices were already in the US and many didn’t see movement until 2-3 days before delivery.

I'm pre-ordering thru Verizon as I've done over the past 7 years. Usually it's a quick and seamless process. I paid off my 11 Pro Max a few weeks ago so I have no trade-in this year. Will be using it for a backup.

I can’t trade in through Verizon until next year due to my SE2020 hasn’t had 1/2 of the payments paid off. I’m getting $16.66 on device credits for 24 months. Next year I may trade that in for the 13 if I like the keynote otherwise I’ll hold onto my 12 Pro Max for an additional year.

From the previous Verizon threads it seem pretty easy.

Can anyone that is a long time Verizon customer help me with some knowledge? We are looking to add 1-2 new lines, move from shared data to unlimited plans, but want to use the new phones with our 2 current numbers.

But what is the easiest way to put our old numbers on the new phones while getting new numbers for our old phones? Do we order the new phones with new numbers and then "swap" the numbers with Verizon once the new phones are in hand?

I'm assuming it would be easiest to upgrade my data package a day or two before the pre-orders. Normally we just turn in our old phones toward a discount on a new phone but we have family that want to join our plan and would like our old phones this time around.

I think if your going to order it from Apple directly then chances are it will be delivered straight from China.

Assuming there's a phone I want, I'll be buying one in December, just like always. VZW will give me whatever they'll give me for my X, and it'll be done.

Or I might just do a battery in my X this December and wait another year.
