Verizon iPhone (4.2.6) does JB with GP RC5 B4!

yup. picked up verizon iphone 4 this morning. jailbroke within 20 min. didn't know i had to update to 4.2.6 for the gp to load cydia. 4.2.5 which my iphone came otb with DOES NOT load cydia with gp rc5.4 to jailbreak. Everything is running well. Feels like i never switched from my att iphone 4...except the fact that i have brand spanking new hardware and 3G NOW in Missoula, MT. word. 
Happy with my jb'd Verizon iphone.
Now we just need someone to make some carrier graphics that work on it.

I held off for two days before I jailbroke my Verizon iPhone, and absolutely love it. Coming from the Android platform I have to say that there's nothing that I did on my Droid that I can't do on my iPhone now. LOVE IT!
Glad you like it! It's nice to hear this from a Droid user. I get sick of the iphone vs droid debate (too much like mac vs pc). If it works for you that's all that matters. But for those who don't even use it and just dismiss it out of hand, who cares.
I'm hoping I'll be a little happier after JBing. I can't believe how locked down this thing is. There were things about my droid that it couldn't do that my BB could, there are things my iPhone won't do that the BB and my Dinc can. Wish you could just hand a wishlist to a manuf and order the options you want. : )

Well if you paid for the hotspot option then you'll be able to activate it in the network screen normally.
Otherwise install MyWi to tether.
