Verizon iPhone 4S

I got my iPhone replaced at my local apple store and it seems like they didn't put in a SIM card in my new phone. It works and all but should I be worrying that my old SIM card is in my old phone still?

VZW 4s's don't use SIM cards, and the port is just there for unlocking.

Ok thanks because in my original phone there was just a SIM card in there.

It probably was from another carrier. Only Verizon LTE phones use sims.

No need for a SIM on Verizon... for now.

There should because the 4S is a world phone.

The sim is only there for the phone to connect to a partner roaming gsm carrier outside the US.
Not used at all when you're in the US.

That's right. Verizon 4S iPhones do have sim card slots and the phone doesn't need to have the sim in it but it will display the no sim inserted message.
