What's your location number? My tracking info has the same time stamps for the "Left FedEx origin facility" and "Arrived at FedEx location." Also, yours is the only one I've seen so far that doesn't say "Indirect signature required," which mine doesn't say either.

My location # is W781001. Yeah I don't see anything about a signature either, but in the past I've always had to sign for Verizon deliveries - I wouldn't expect this one to be any different.

Does anyone know if these Fedex tracking numbers are actually going to update with a destination?

Just want to make sure my phone goes to the shipping address I input and not the billing address.

Haven't gotten any email confirmation, about the order nor with shipping info. Literally been tracking everything myself with help from this thread.

Should be in the email when you get your tracking number.

My phone is coming from D772001 and my order number is 71XXX. Should I be concerned that I don't have a tracking #?

Anybody else have location code N211401? I ordered 2.15am Chicago time, got confirmation email at 2.47am, and just got pending charge late last night on my credit card. I have not seen any update since then.. :(.. Ordered 32gb black

I have N211401 also. Placed order about the same time as you with confirmation at 2:20(central time as well.) Card charged last night at about 6:00 and received tracking this morning.

16gb black

Should be in the email you got your tracking number from.

No emails, none at all. Not one confirming the order (I called Friday afternoon just to make sure and CSR said I'd get an email late, but that never came) and I didn't get an email with shipping info at all (I checked the status on VZW and that's how I got my tracking number).

Checked the spam filter and everything, not a single email. But I've been billed and I have a Fedex tracking number.

Just wanted to see if the destination would update so I don't have to bother CSR or Fedex.

Order Location: D771001

just got fedex tracking as well.

771101 to jersey finally got a tracking number from preorder site, never got a shipped email

Man, you folks really need to chill out. You'll get your phones. If you pre-ordered in the middle of the night, your phone will arrive on Friday. Don't worry about your confirmation, don't worry about whether or not your cc was charged yet. It's Tuesday. They are still processing orders. You'll get your phone on Friday.

Yes, but cool heads aren't nearly as fun.

For folks who have ordered more than one phone - are you getting multiple shipment notices w/ multiple tracking numbers? Looks like we've to be home all day Friday.

I completely agree with you and I'm being patient. None of us will die without a new iPhone 5 (I PROMISE!).

What puzzles me is trying to figure out how Verizon can keep track of what must be >100k orders without decent systems that are consistently up to date. Given the way updates come from them I'm picturing a giant warehouse with a stack of packing lists on one side, a pile of iPhones on the other side, and a huge group of folks taking a packing list, taking a phone, dropping it in a box and then telling some guy sitting there with a green screen terminal that "Order 39383837 is shipped!" He types in the appropriate code and then the AS400 batch process runs once every 24-48 hours to update the web site.

Obviously Verizon MUST get these orders out or face an enourmous public relations nightmare. You can also look at this another way - it appears Verizon's been spending their resources on rolling out a lot of LTE instead of beefing up their once-a-year logistics issues. That's OK with me!

I completely agree with you, but I still love reading all the freak-outs.

:)

boo for me. My order number is 50xxx and I have no info yet. Just "your order has been sent for processing". I think the order location W779201 is sleeping in today. :(

I'm in location W779201, 50xxx and I just received my tracking number about 30 minutes (9:45am PST) ago.

Definitely call the Internet sales number -- if there's anything wrong with the order, from what people are saying customer service can only initiate a new order rather than fixing the issue with the existing one.

(neidl32 posted the phone number: 866-338-7390)

Just called them, they said everything is good just basically be patient for the sent confirmation and tracking and I'm pretty much promised for the 21st. I'm done calling and checking, I'm good. Just the waiting game.

HAHA thats hilarious. Yet unfortunately probably true:p

I didn't get any emails, not one confirming the order (I ordered 3:01 EST) and not one with tracking/shipping info (I got that myself from my order status).

Was hoping the destination on Fedex would update so I don't have to bother with CSR or Fedex.
