When I called to hold a package at Fed Ex the automated lady told me it's not available and that my package was headed to my zip code at the moment. I was just wondering if anyone knows if I have to be there to sign for it or not? Idk what "indirect signature required" means? The question mark next to it says I can can leave a Fed Ex door tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present. Do I need to go to Fed Ex to get a door tag??

Just received my shipping notice for the 32GB 5 I ordered for my daughter. I placed the order around 7:00 AM EST on the 14th. Delivery is scheduled for Friday before 3:00 PM.
Anybody else have location code N211401? I ordered 2.15am Chicago time, got confirmation email at 2.47am, and just got pending charge late last night on my credit card. I have not seen any update since then.... Ordered 32gb black
Yes quite a few of us. I have a pending charge, but no tracking number. My order # is 51*** for a 64GB Black, placed around 3am.
But spinboy has an order # of 39*** and hasn't received his tracking info yet. It'll come later today I'm sure.
Well, I assume wait times are pretty long right now, but I think if you want peace of mind you should go for it. Most likely, and best case scenario, is a 30 second conversation where they look up your order and tell you everything is OK. Worst case, something actually is wrong with your order and you were right to call.
I ordered two 16gb black iPhones. Just got my FedEx tracking number.
My Ace Order Location is D771001 for those who have the same number. My order is shipping out of West Chester, PA. Says Estimated delivery Sep 21, 2012 by 3:00 PM but lower on the tracking page it indicates Future delivery requested.

i did not know. no emails or anything. i called just to make sure everything went through. bank released payment at noon, but vzw had to push it to make it through.

Got confirmation pre-order was completed. One hour later I received a confirmation via e-mail that my pre-order was being in process with ref. no, etc.

Deliver By: 09/21/2012
In the summary both phones are listed with $20 line access fee but at the bottom my monthly charge shows as being $180/mo instead of $140/mo (60 plan plus two $40 line access fees).
I called Verizon two times and they are stating they are not able to see pre-orders in their system unless it was add-a-line thing.
When I check "reference no" link as 1st post suggested it states:
Ace Order#: 47***
Ace Order Location: N211401
Order Status: We received your order and it is in process
Expected ship date: 09/21/2012
Tracking #: (none)
Courier: (none)
PS In the confirmation e-mail states "deliver by: 9/21/2012"
Can someone please tell me what a heck is going on with my order?

That's besides the point. It is not SHIPPING on the 21st, it will is reflecting the delivery date.
what number did you call? My bank took the money out, but it is still a pending transaction, but the money is gone..
You can leave a note on your door and sigh it telling then to leave it but if it was me I wouldn't. I'm staying home Thursday and Friday so I won't miss it

Yes. I'm in northern IL and ordered at around 8am. Confirmation showed delivery of 9/21 and I received that email at 8:21 am. Have seen no changes since then. No pending charges or anything.
I just received my shipping information. I ordered 2 White 16GB 5's at 12:03AM PST. Delivery for Friday before 3PM
Definitely call the Internet sales number -- if there's anything wrong with the order, from what people are saying customer service can only initiate a new order rather than fixing the issue with the existing one.

Yes, I'm in Indiana and it says delivery will happen by the 19th at 3:00pm but I'm a little skeptical about getting it early. I just don't think Apple would let it happen.
