Still waiting on a white 32gb that was ordered on 9/14 at 1:00pm EDT. My Verizon MiFi came on Monday so I've been getting used to Verizon 4g. My card was charged last Thursday and was initially given a delivery date of 9/26. When I called the activation line for the MiFi I inquired about the status of my iPhone order. I didn't have my order number with me at the time, but the CS rep was unable to find it in the system. I really get the impression that Verizon is in the dark and most orders are just being drop shipped by Apple. Verizon is probably at the mercy of Apple for information/status.
 
Isn't it odd that the "Modify Payment" button is gone if this a is a charging issue?

For me to get the online chat to pop so I can ask a question i have to go to verizonwireless.com and pretend that i am a new customer ordering a new phone/line to get the online chat to pop. Hope that helps...
 
Amex was just charged!

White 16gb. Ordered 16 Sept at 2:10pm est

Pre-order page has been updated to say

"Your order has been sent for processing"

That happened the same time I got charged. But still no tracking number. Expected ship date is also blank now.
 
I ordered 2 4s' last year and they came at the same time, in different boxes. So no I wouldn't think that would matter.

I ordered two phones and both have same tracking info so i'm assuming they're in the same box.
so maybe thats why he isn't getting his 32, they might be waiting to ship them both together.
 
I was starting to accept my 10/26 date, but now after reading a few pages of this thread a feeling of false hope for an early ship date is starting to settle over me.

I'm willing to bet it's because Verizon doesn't know them. They send shipping addresses to Apple and Apple has them drop shipped directly from Foxconn or whomever is manufacturing them in China. They're producing them as fast as they can, but the end result is a lack of data/transparency on order progress.
 
Ordered 9/21, originally was saying ship date 10/19 got shipping confirmation yesterday with delivery Thursday. Ordered black 32gb. Ordered through verizonwireless.com with a transferred upgrade I had for my iPad.
 
My delivery date disappeared and it says "Your order has been sent for processing."

AND there's now a charge on my amex. Looking good (finally).

btw - I ordered 16gb black on 9/16
 
Was able to get a tracking number by calling business customer support. I had no insight into the Verizon order number, whether the order was processed or a shipping date. My advice to anyone waiting is once your CC is charged you should be able to get the Verizon order number from the information on the CC charge. Mine was a seven digit number right before the 1-800 number listed. I was given a tracking number by the CS rep over the phone and it's currently showing out for delivery!

So it looks like my white 32gb order from 9/14 will arrive today... Fingers crossed.

I am going to try to get my dad to call Verizon customer service.

Ordered White 16GB and Black 16GB on 9/15 at 9pm.

Will update once tracking info received.
