You don't actually have to go in to the host file and do all of what was explained above, but it does work. Really all you have to do is open TU and uncheck the box that says something like, redirect to cydia or TU on exit. (I'm at work and don't have TU on my work computer to get the exact verbiage ) then you hit apply and then close the application.

What that does is the same as you described above, just easier.

It works fine.

There are some programs that are a little gimmicky.

Restored to stock os without a problem. I installed it the first time and made the mistake of using a backup to put my Cydia programs on the V phone, big mistake, does not work.

Have not noticed really any differences between this jailbreak and the one for ATT.

I actually had some problems with the ATT as Cydia appears to keep crashing after I installed something, have not narrowed it down yet, but will likely have to restore at some point.

I've been having problems with just regular updating in itunes. It keeps giving me an error. When I read this, I pinged it and it started with 74. What can I do to change it back? I don't know what I did to change it in the first place. I do have Tiny Umbrella on my computer, but from what I can see, I never installed it.

The answer to your question is in my original post. Open Tiny umbrella go to advance mode uncheck the box that says point host file to cydia on exit and close tiny umbrella. Unless you do this you will always have the problem. Changing the host file directly will fix the problem only until you open tiny umbrella again.
