For some reason I just had an image of the movie "Airplane" where they guy unplugs the runway lights for a second. LMAO...dating myself but oh well...

I just read iPhone shipments through UPS in '09 showed disappearing delivery dates-that reappeared later (after arrival scans in some cases)

Mine's back up too. Got nervous there. Called the UPS automated line and entered tracking # which noted Monday delivery date.

I need to interject and debunk any myth that the VZW iPhone 4 won't sell for $400 to $500 prior to the iPhone 5 release. I'm a PowerSeller and have been selling devices on eBay since 2003 and i'll be the first one to tell you, that yes it will. Yes, you are limited to VZW customers, but those customers pay generously for devices when the full retail of the device is considered. I just sold a few Samsung Captivates for $400; the iPhone 4 will easily match that or surpass it.

iPhones retain much of their value so reselling and using that to put towards the iPhone 5 will not be an issue.

I hear ya. I've already confined my wife and child to the house on monday to sign for my package while i work. it better be here lol :D bc i confined them to the house friday just in case and they're stir crazy
