I ordered Thursday morning, and it has been listed as shipped since Friday, now I finally get tracking info and it isn't being delivered till Tuesday the 8th. I'm glad I got tracking info but I'm more than a little miffed that it is coming on Tuesday!
I was eligible in Jan and will be again in June (iPhone 5?) and then again in December. Strategically placed upgrades LOL
if it was just ME getting the phone, and I was using my mom being home sick as a good thing because then I'd get it, that'd be bad. but now she'll be home to play with her new toy too. 😀 she's already been obsessed with her iPod touch ever since she got it. 1st gen, the thing's so outdated and she loves it to death. I've got a 3rd gen, so the only reaal new thing to me is the phone aspect (which of course I'm beyond stoked about), but I'm excited for her because it'll be such a new change. and my dad's never had an iPod or anything and he's going nuts too, he already has been on iTunes downloading a bunch of apps he wants and they go around singing "_ more days til iPhone day, iPhone day, iPhone day!"
...my family are odd. bahahahah

Haha i wish it went down on me.. i have been annoying my dad ever since we decided to preorder. so glad we did. or else i would have been getting it on the 12th.
Weird. I just got an email from FedEx saying that my package has departed the FedEx facility at 9:56 CST, it weighs 1 lb. and will be delivered tomorrow, yet the tracking page does not show any of this. It still says shipping info sent to FedEx. What's the deal?
If there is any link do not click on it. Did you request fedex email updates? What is also strange is the 1lb vs 2lb. Many of us are listed as 2 pounds.
LMAO. Someone had to take it farther. I knew when I wrote that the site went down on me and iKG someone would take that wrong.

bahahhahaha thats awesome. I had an Ipod 1st generation 16GB... and my dad had a shuffle a longgg time ago, then i got him the 3rd generation ipod nano and he like never used it. 😱 i think both my parents were almost as excited as i was until it was the 2nd and all i ever talked about was our new iphones lol. now they just want me to shut up 😱
Nah, 1lbs seems right for one phone. they seem to be a pound each. anyone who ordered one says 1lb, those who ordered 2 say 2lbs, and those like me who ordered 3 say 3lbs. haven't heard of anyone ordering more than that, but it'd probably continue to increase by a pound.
Now it says my beloved iPhone has departed the facility in Newark, NJ. I can't remember when I was more excited. I think it was when I found out Sammy Hagar was going to be the new lead singer of Van Halen in late 1984.
