just dont open the door before the driver knocks...lol. I imagine some people will be meeting the driver at the truck.
Yes, let him ring the bell before opening -
followed by "OH?? A package for me? I wasn't expecting anything..."

For those who have shipments arriving? Did you order from Apple or Verizon?
HaHa that one creepy guy. thats funny. He was creepy but his wife was driving me nuts talking and shooting the video sideways.![]()
mine has been sitting in ontario california since friday. ontario is only a couple hours away from me so hopefully i get mine tomorrow like its scheduled.
I ordered from Verizon about 1:50am Central time on Feb. 3rd.For those who have shipments arriving? Did you order from Apple or Verizon?
Since UPS requires a signature and I don't see a form anywhere on their website, is anyone else handwriting a note to leave the iPhone at the front door? I won't be home until past 5pm...
hoping the ups guy actually shows up before 10:30am which is what my shipping info says...not counting on it, but should get it tomorrow either way.
personally..I wouldn't ask them to leave it...there will be a mass delivery of iPhones on monday and its no secret..I can see alot of these being stolen. Leave a note to arrange for a pickup at a Fed-ex or UPS hub.

Was wondering the same thing, but like volfan4 said-lots of people know about the deliveries tomorrow, it might be a bad day to allow the UPS guy to leave it at our doors. Sigh. Won't be home for half of the day either, so I'm trying to figure this out.

I'm leaving a very nice note asking them to please leave it at the rental office for my complex, and gave permission for the lady there to sign for it. UPS usually just takes my packages there anyway if I'm not home, but I didn't know if this would be different when a signature was required.
Meeting the UPS driver at the truck is mandatory here if what you are expecting is fragile. If I don't get there quick enough usually I know he's already been to the door because I hear the *THUMP* of the package hitting the concrete porch! ARGH!!! And our driveway is a solid sheet of ice right now where waiting at the end of the driveway might even be more appropriate! LOL I live in the country.
If you're doing that, make sure you leave your order information (tracking info, name, etc.) on your note.
So, all weekend long my UPS tracking page was showing a Monday delivery and "1 business days left" notification at the top. Today, the tracking info had it arriving at the UPS facility in the next town over (this is where all of my UPS packages go right before the Destination Scan and deliver). But, at 7:30ish tonight, it listed a Departure Scan from that facility and now there is no scheduled delivery date listed and the green bar at the top doesn't say "1 business day" anymore. Any idea what could be up?
So, it's safe to say that this is you?
