Congrats to all getting iphones today!

I've been reading these posts since early Thursday morning, after I ordered my iPhone at 3:02 am EST. Decided to post because you deserve a really huge congrats... you've not been waiting just a few days... you've been waiting 4 years! About time, I'd say. Mine is on the UPS truck and out for delivery - woohoo!

Still no tracking info and the order status is still down. Ordered a little before 3am. What gives?

It is weird but people can't access Verizon's order status page seemingly until they get their tracking email. Maybe they block them to take a load off their servers?

Hmm I heard that. Just thought early preorders would be out by now.

It's for my mom, she ordered a case and a charger at the same time, I wonder if the extras are delaying the order.

So I'm reading that because Verizon's data is slower, the quality of video stream is worse than AT&T's. I also read Verizon will be adjusting the video rendering as well. That....sucks. It's such a waste of a nice screen like the retina display. I hope they fix this in the near future. :(

It's coming!!

I've been lurking since I ordered my phone Thursday. My phone is being shipped to my office in Daytona Beach and the Fed Ex status just changed to "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" YESSSS!! :)

They're not adjusting video rendering. Video will be rendered to the quality that it is capable of efficiently rendering. Make a habit of using WiFi and your video will be as clear as ever. 3G on AT&T or Verizon provides pitiful speeds (especially when they're capable of providing higher speeds).

Apologies if I missed this over the weekend, but trying to help a friend out and curious if anyone can assist --- her tracking info shows an IP address and the courier is something like M6. Any ideas?

Much thanks!

Ah, thanks for the clarification. That means a lot as I will do most of my video streaming on WiFi! :)

Does anybody remember the commercial for the 100 oreo calorie packs where the women swarm trucks and steal the contents. I feel like im going to see a similar scene played out with delivery trucks and anxious iphone consumers haha delivery men no longer fear dogs...Verizon customers are now #1

I have been reading this thread religiously since Friday. Thank you all for such great entertainment, and for making me feel less freakish for being so excited for a damn phone!

Fortunately I am legitimately home sick from work. Now with my luck, my phone won't show up until 7PM tonight anyway! Its been 5 minutes away since Friday!

I'm soooo excited!!!!

I'm beginning to get really upset about the fact that I have to leave for work in 37 minutes ): ): ):
haven't even showered yet. but I never take more than 20 minutes to shower and get ready, so I've got plenty of time. I just know it'll come while I'm at work though, and even though my mom's here, I'm super upset that I won't be xD torture! 2pm couldn't come fast enough!!

My wife just texted me saying that mine has arrived. Now I have to wait 6 more hours before I get off work and can go home to get it. I really hate waiting....

I just want to Thank you all for keeping me entertained over this loonngg weekend. UPS had me all excited thinking my phone would be here Friday Eve, needless to say after speaking w/a rep and being told there was a "delay" I am happy to announce that the UPS man just left my door and I now have my Verizon iPhone!!!! :D

PS-It felt good to stumble across a site where people were equally as frenzied as I was LoL :apple:

Netflix on the iPad's 3G is lousy. Netflix on the iPad via the Verizon Mifi is perfectly fine. Just my experience; yours may vary.

to those of you who have your verizon iphone: can you test out pandora and see how well it streams over 3g? also test youtube. i realize that verizon will be slower than the at&t 3g data, but i am really only concerned with how it affects real-world usage. thanks

I don't think it would be much different than other Verizon 3G devices. My Droid X streams Pandora and YouTube beautifully on 3G.
