Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

I am SO glad I'm able to work from home today after reading some of your posts, mwuahahahahaha! :p j/k. Hey, at least you're in the East Coast and get first dibs.
 
My FedEx status finally changed to 'On FedEx vehicle for delivery' WooHoo!

I just hope I'm not at the end of the route today :)

This is a HUGE lesson for first time Iphone owners. ALWAYS use WiFi when available for these reasons:

1. So much faster
2. Near perfect video streaming
3. Easier on the battery.
4. Makes voice/data possible with Ver iphone
 
I guess mine just arrived at the local Fed Ex facility. It's SO close! They won't let me pick it up. Like ppl have already mentioned, he said 1st delivery attempt must be made. Ugh.

ok good. so unless you are downloading lots of large files with the phone (which 99% of users won't), the 3g speeds are perfectly acceptable on verizon.

just noticed this on FedEx's website:

"IMPORTANT!
Package deliveries are proceeding as normal; however, tracking updates are temporarily being delayed. Please try back later."
 
heading home to check... here's hoping (a) it's there, and (b) I don't get a speeding ticket on the way!!! :D
 
Imagine being a FedEx/UPS guy. I'm sure some of them ordered iphones too. That means they get to take it home from work right? They're the first ones to get it lol.

And I imagine they all know EXACTLY what's in those boxes, lol
 
Do I read middle English or Macforums? And there are way too many diesel trucks out and about today. It's the biggest ---- tease ever!

I bet they do too! I called up UPS on Friday night and was on hold for about half an hour, probably everyone calling up to ask where/when their phone would be delivered. The lady wouldn't even let me pick mine up either ):

I don't believe FedEx uses "out for delivery"; think it is going to continue to show "in transit" until it is changed to "delivered". OFD is a UPS thing.
 
Do any of you who have gotten your phones, usually get later in the day deliveries? I always do and this is not going to go over well if I have to wait until I get home from work at 10pm tonight to activate it :(
 
I got my phone! I saw the ups guy pull into my neighborhood but he never came to my house. I saw he went to the neighbors and when I checked online I saw the package was signed for. So I went over there and she had my phone. Luckily I have honest neighbors

I have been reading this blog for days now, sitting by my window waiting for this phone. Just to mix it up, if rumors are true, what will everyone think if the WHITE version is released just days after Verizon's public release? Also thoughts on HTC 4G Thunderbolt?

WTH!? Why do they always do that??? They either don't make an attempt to knock on the door, they just assume no one is home or they leave it with someone else.
