Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

Here's my order stats, for those who are keeping track of it.

Location: Utah
Order placed: 2:50 AM EST Feb 3
Confirmation: 3:15 AM EST Feb 3
Tracking: 12:53 AM EST Feb 4
Location code: W779301
Shipping info: Next Day Air UPS, via Ontario, CA

Seems like some of that is speculation with no actual confirmation from Verizon... However this would be for switchovers from ATT which couldn't even be ordered through the pre-order system because it was for current Verizon Customers. So maybe when the official date for ordering hits (February 9th I believe) they might give you that option.... If not might be worth giving V a call to see...

It shouldn't be. I ordered a couple minutes before then with the same selection (Two 32GB), I was order #22, and I received my shipping confirmation earlier this evening.

Anyone see a difference in order shipping address on the confirmation than what was typed into the order? I had a suite and etc, and shows different on the order number.

I'm in colorado and I'm in the same boat as you... Discover says there is a preauth amount on the account, but still no official charge. Order is still bring processed and says it will ship on the 10th. So now I'm looking for a way to cancel the order if I won't get it anyways until the 10th, because I have paid $749 through Verizon for no reason instead of $699 through apple.

I'm dying here. It's absolutely ridiculous that I am obsessed over this.

Yes, I put in an apartment number that my confirmation email left off...hope that's not a problem. I know my UPS man tends to go to the office and look up what apartment I am when that happens, so hopefully no issue. I'll cross my fingers for us :)

Was in the same boat. I strongly urge you to call your credit card company and make sure their fraud detector/authorization dept. didn't decline it. I confirmed mine when I received a call and it was STILL cancelled even when I confirmed it. Now I'm in limbo waiting to see what happens next. Verizon rep is supposed to be taking care of this for me (had to re-purchase thru phone which they don't do but was willing to make an exception I guess. Also stated this is a common problem they were facing. SO CHECK!)

Cool, yeah same here, I had to put the company name in my order for my last name, because when I selected shipping to business it never came up with business name, but when I tried to push continue it asked me to fill business name...:confused: They defiantly just slapped the pre order site together... Like thinking no one would be ordering. I'm just hoping it's there, and they left it off... When I talked to a verizon rep about this, she said that she had a few other calls about that, and it should be fine. It's probably there, but just not shown in the small space on the order conf.

First off, I'm so sorry for your situation. I feel terrible for you. As soon as you posted that I got on the phone with Discover Card to make sure that they wouldn't withhold any funds from being let go. She assured me they wouldn't, especially considering it's not over $1000, but you never know. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the case :) Good luck to you, and I hope that you get it sooner than expected.

I'm glad yours is okay. I would ignore that "shipping on Feb.10th". Everyone seems to have gotten that message but are getting theirs already shipped. You'll probably have yours by Monday. But I highly highly doubt yous will be there after the 10th.
 
Decided to get one after all. Order # 79x. I just received the email. It was scanned at UPS in Ontario at 9:26PM PST. Shipped next day air.
