I don't think it has anything to do with Apple. Reps are never up to speed on anything like this. Most will get the info from these type of forums, make it up or just say they don't know.
My status changed!! AHHHH this is like a 30 minute drive away. So close yet so far... 
I'm just excited that we don't have to wait until Thursday or something.

If you listen to the automated recording before being connected to the rep, the system states reps have no more information than what the recording said. So by reps saying Feb 10th, they're protecting their butts.
Thanks! And I just want to let everyone know that my Fedex package will be here on Monday, and I ordered at 6:30am eastern time yesterday. Thought the people who slept later, like me, would feel a little better about this info.

I'm just miffed that I ordered at 3 am, live 20 minutes from the warehouse in West Chester, and still have nothing. No tracking number STILL. Reference number doesn't work on FedEx yet, either.
I can only hope it's going via UPS and has already shipped, but they haven't updated yet since it's due for delivery today.
Whatever. If I have to, I'll go to the local FedEx/UPS warehouse late tonight to get it if I have to.
I would not chance that one bit. Although you might get away with a note, VZ is good about requiring a direct signature in many cases. It may come down to the driver on what is done.
Yeah -- ignore that. If FedEx/UPS has your package with an overnight confirmation -- they're not gonna hold it...I've never seen that happen and I've ordered alot of ****.Just talk with a Verizon Rep when I dialed 611. I asking her to track my phone, she ask for the tracking number, then she ask what type of phone was it. When I told her she stated the IPhone would not ship until the 10th.
Just like when I bought my Droid X in August and they said it wouldn't deliver for 3 weeks and I got it the next day. They know nothing.
From what I gather from talking to another VZW rep, if you haven't received your tracking info yet, it's nearly certain that your phone hasn't been shipped to you yet. Apparently mine is still "pending shipment" but no tracking info is available.
She was totally shocked to hear that people will be getting their phones today and Monday, it was breaking news to her.
I wish I could have the last 16 hours of my life back instead of wasting it waiting on a phone that isn't coming until God knows when. Oh well, what do I expect for a $1500 all-nighter?

Tell ya what....when you get your iPhone today or Monday, call he directly from it and ask the same thing. They probably will still say the 10th. LMAO

You can check it that way, but many have received shipping emails with tracking info
Verizon needs to educate their employees a bit more. I called Verizon about 30 minutes before I go my tracking number to check status, and she said that not until the 10th are they shipping. I told her that can't be since so many people have already got notification of shipment. She was sooo confused and couldn't believe what I was saying. Then after another 10 minutes, she couldn't even find a way to look up my order. I was very "PO"ed.
I really hope that now that Verizon got the iphone, they don't think they can slack off and just have a "oh well" attitude. We'll see.

When I submit that form it says "Page is not currently available". What a load o crap.

Got my shipment confirm lastnight around 750pm, I'm wondering if they gave me an incomplete or wrong UPS tracking code, nothing shows up with it.

That's more likely. A lot of people were having that problem last evening and then reported later that every was fine.
O man this makes me nervous......sounds like what I did....what happened? I am the add a line to my wifes acct. Shes the primary line and I am an add-on line. I place the order upgrading both or phones but have been concerned from the start that it never asked for a "card holders name" and was going to assume it was the primary acct name....my wife.....which will not match up with my bank info. Any info..Verizon reps keep telling me all is fine and it will go through...no charge to bank yet..but I do have shipped status with no tracking.

You guys are lucky. We've been having horrible weather in NJ, and I can't take off anymore. Also, my boss is leaving to travel on Monday, so worst case, the Fedex driver will leave something for me to sign or I'll pick it up from Fedex on my way home on Tuesday. Waited this long....
