Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

I can't get mine to work. Credit card was charged, no tracking email, and VZ's site is down:

Those of us in the West Chester, PA location need a "Departure scan" I believe. Meaning the phones left the building. As of right now it appears they are sitting there.

My best guess is the phones will depart West Chester, PA and arrive at the nearest airport. They then will be flown to various cities in the NE. That surely sounds like a Monday delivery.

Thanks for the suggestion, seems like it should work but still doesn't for me. I tried d771101_00000238701 and a few other variants, but still nothing.

EDIT: does it work for you to enter that reference number?
 
Apple shipment update

Just spoke with Apple again and they said if you ordered from them you wont get it until the 10th. He said Pre ordering like we did just guarantees you get it on the 10th.

So who the F____ knows
 
Pff, Apple was such a big help /end sarcasm.

All I got was a bunch of "I'm sorrry" and "Check back later". I didn't realize I spent $200 to watch everyone else get the iPhone days before me.... I think I have had enough of watching that for the past three years.

I will never make the mistake of pre-ordering from Apple.com again.
 
I actually ordered my iPhone at 2:58am, but then I found out later that morning that it isn't possible to ship to an address (my college dorm) other than the account's billing address (my family's home). So, I canceled my order, hoping to figure something out later.

Later in the day, my parents decided that I should just have the phone shipped to their house and then ship it to me from there. So, I re-ordered the phone around 5:30 EST, obviously much further back in line. My status still says that my order is "in process".

Damn, I shouldn't have canceled my original order! :mad:

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. If there's no departure scan at this point, it's pretty safe to assume it's going to be a Monday delivery. I think this will be the first time in my life that I'll be wanting the weekend to hurry up and for Monday to get here.

There's really no rhyme or reason to this. One order has shipped with a tracking number and another order, placed a couple minutes after the first, has "shipped" without a tracking number. Same location too.

So I guess it feels half-awesome... I think.
