Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

I'm struggling through the same thing.... WHY does my company have to be so slow right now! I am going nuts. anyone have any idea to keep us "Monday" people busy this weekend?

I suppose there is the Super Bowl. Not as exciting as getting the phone today, but something other than loitering in MacRumors forums. Time goes infinitely slow in these forums.
 
Has anyone's order shipped from location code D771101? To the best of my knowledge this is the Northern VA, DC & Maryland area. I have been unable to find tracking numbers for that location code.

Now that it is working and I can see my beautiful Verizon-embedded iphone in the distance... it's like I'm waiting to get married... terrified.... excited... waiting for the "wait period" to be over. although when it arrives I don't think I will make sweet love to it...
 
I think we should all just assume a Monday delivery. Except for zaccor, that lucky bastard. If your FedEx/UPS tracking page has no indication that the shipment is on a vehicle for delivery or that it's "out for delivery", it's just not going to happen today. It would've had that update very early in the morning. So, that being said-we should open up a new thread on Monday and post pics of our iPhones arriving. iPhone Party thread. :D

So I guess it feels half-awesome... I think.

I'm over 24 Hours at this point with no shipment confirmation. Only order has been received :(.

Yeah I have mine. I think most of us got free shipping.

If this didn't work for you doing fedex try UPS I had to different packages coming, well one I ordered for another family member. And mine is coming fedex and his is coming ups. So try both out.

Exactly, now once again... we get to watch everyone around us have an iPhone. If we don't get it until Thursday [launch day] at, say, noon... that means that plenty of new Verizon customers will have it before us.

*sigh*.

If only Verizon had accepted the address.

People calm down. I'm sure that pretty much everyone will be getting them on Monday. That what it looks like. You will more than likely have your phone before all the AT&T switchers, if you are even super concerned about that. Every rep pretty much has to say the 10th because that is the latest they will be there, but it looks like they will be coming before that. Cool down and just realize that you are getting an iPhone and that is the awesome fact.

I have AT&T in my area, but I live close to the city (NYC), and when I go there-I want to be able to make a phone call, period. My brother lives there, and no joke-almost every single phone call he makes (he has an AT&T iPhone) to me ends up dropping 30 seconds in, me going :confused:, and then him re-calling me from his work phone (landline). So as appealing as the iPhone was, I needed reliability, and I guess it was enough for me to wait nearly 4 long years as well! Verizon has been great to our area in terms of service.

Yeah mine shipped from that code last night via UPS in West Chester, PA.

Later in the day, my parents decided that I should just have the phone shipped to their house and then ship it to me from there. So, I re-ordered the phone around 5:30 EST, obviously much further back in line. My status still says that my order is "in process".

Mine isn't getting shipped to the billing address, I live several states away from the billing address. I don't know why they told you that. Bummer.

I ordered through apple as well, and there is no reason to believe that we won't get it before the 10th. Most of us knew that we would likely get the phone on or before the 10th, and anything earlier would be a super bonus.

Yeah... Time does slow down here.. some sort of apple fan-boy vortex... maybe because of all the anticipation in here, time literally slows down...
