If you're on Verizon, and you use the upgrade, you will forfeit your unlimited plan. The trick is to open a new line, transfer the upgrade, retain the plan, etc. Lots of hoops.
Anyone else not received a confirmation e-mail?

Same here. The Verizon confirmation page showed the transferred line correctly, but the email confirmation showed the incorrect line.
Just make sure you activate it on the correct line when you receive the phone and all should be fine.
on your guys confirmation order page does it say this?

Thats odd. I got my email conf at 2.08 central, 3 min after submitting. Most likely a delay with the number of orders.

When I did mine, I logged into my Verizon, then on my main account page, I selected "Manage Device" for the phone I was changing. Then I selected "Upgrade" device, navigated to the 5S Month to Month price and added it to the cart. If you do that, you SHOULD then be asked if you want to keep the SIM, then the next screen says "keep existing plan". Follow the rest of the way thru and you should be good.
Every time I am there to buy it under my account once I click month-to-month, I see my cart and get an "Existing customers log in here" screen. I click it, I get shown my account screen with my current phone. Do I click upgrade? Here? http://i.imgur.com/MXorzF1.png
Or do I just go through the cart process without going to this screen?

Mine still has the expected ship date of 9/24. Maybe they are starting to slip already?
THANK YOU!! Your walkthrough was perfect and really helped me out! That was a bit complicated so thank you for taking the time to do it like that for me. I got a 32gb gold ordered. Didn't really see any estimation dates but the checkout went through and kept my Unlimited plan with it.
Ordered through Verizon. Got a Gold 32gb iPhone. Actually went to Verizon's site on my iPad. Overall, it was a pretty smooth process. Hope you guys enjoy your phones. Later dudes
I forgot how this works -- is it possible to get AppleCare+ when you buy on Verizon's website? I never saw an option, but I did process the order pretty fast.
I also said I wanted to keep my existing SIM, but I realized I actually wanted a new one. I'm not about to try and change the order though. I'll deal with it later.
