I forgot how this works -- is it possible to get AppleCare+ when you buy on Verizon's website? I never saw an option, but I did process the order pretty fast.

I also said I wanted to keep my existing SIM, but I realized I actually wanted a new one. I'm not about to try and change the order though. I'll deal with it later.

You can't get apple care from verizon. I probably will go through SquareTrade again. I selected keep sim, but you can go to verizon store and change it after you get phone.

One hitch I noticed when I tried ordering 5c last week--just to see how the preorders for 5s might go...

Do not select the use this phone internationally. For some reason (maybe it's my unlimited plan feature or blocks or something), I couldn't complete my 5c order and had to click back numerous times. I gave up and started a new order, which was a total waste of time.

Alas, I quickly got my 5s order in with a new SIM.

I selected use internationally and worked fine. Maybe because I chose month to month and paid full price.

I paid month to month / full price, also. Maybe it's because I'm upgrade eligible, but don't want to use an upgrade [to keep unlimited data]. Anyway, with the 5c test preorder last week, I kept receiving errors, so I didn't even chance it during my successful 5s order tonight.

You will have to buy it from Apple, can't get it through Verizon. You have 30 days after purchase to get it.
