Verizon s4 ship date sept 21? Pending?

Verizon usually ships in batches. Per the last couple replies it looks like the ss white is shipping now. Other models should be next. They always plow through them at night for the next couple hours.
Of course, the customer service rep told me it ships friday for delivery monday because it was backordered.
I didn’t even have the energy to argue with her and tell her that the website still said “Delivers 9/21” on the watch for almost the whole first day, and I ordered 3:10 am or so. She wasn’t gonna give any different info other than the order is in process.

I just got this text – WTF? I placed my order on the 14th in the morning?!

Got the same text order still says “processing” phone has shipped.... Last year I got my watch through Apple... first year doing the watch through Verizon
I have gone through Verizon a few years now. They have always delivered on time and usually smoother than many of the Apple store stories.
I agree 125% - Verizon has always delivered on the delivery date or earlier in all my experiences
I will concur with that sentiment on phones, first year ordering the watch through them.... still processing on WED night this late has me a tad nervous LOL
Don’t be nervous. I have heard of some not seeing movement till Thursday night but still getting them on the Friday launch day.
With iPhone preorder sometimes I wouldn’t get the shipping info until Thursday night but with the watch I’m a little bit more nervous has anyone from the New York area gotten anything besides pending yet?
EDIT: It finally says processing so maybe it will actually ship tomorrow!
Mine has said processing for two days and nothing.....starting to question the watch getting here by Friday
I just got a text, moments after calling Customer Service (who still knew NOTHING) that my 4 has shipped and is arriving tomorrow!!! Verizon somehow pulled it off, and they’re getting as mysterious in their methods as Apple!

I am still processing as well. My other watch that isn't stainless has shipped, as well as my XS Max. I still have hope that it will arrive as it should. Overnight shipping is one of the great wonders of the world. Keep the faith....
Same here. And I didn't think it would actually happen. I used ApplePay on the VZW site to finish the transaction. I ended up getting flagged by Verizon's fraud department and had to talk to them three (!!) separate times to clear that up. Then yesterday, the payment didn't go through anyway and I was prompted to enter a new card. I just assumed at that point I'd been bumped out of line but fortunately that didn't happen.
No idea why this was so difficult and whether it was Apple or Verizon that had the issue. I will say that when I talked to their fraud department the third time, it was a pretty unpleasant call. I think the woman I spoke to fully believed I was up to no good. She claimed that my order numbers (from the email asking me to contact them) were in the wrong format, that the orders were under a name not even close to mine and all sorts of other *********. I didn't lose my cool but I was clearly exasperated and wouldn't let her hang up on me, which I think irritated her more. Good times.

Just wait until you live somewhere where Amazon does same day delivery. Now that's some black magic.
