Curious about this too. ordered a 16 GB gold on 9/29 with estimated ship on 11/11. My iP4 screen shattered in a tragic accident yesterday. :(

Haha.. the day my iPhone 5S shipped my iPhone 4 was accidentally dropped on concrete and my back glass got shattered... the next day I got my 5S :)

I ordered mine on 9/28 and expected ship date was 10/28... but mine was shipped 10/16 and received on 10/18.

Unfortunately it was the front of my phone that shattered, not as easy of a fix. Thankfully I have a new phone on the way but also thankful it is not here yet.
 
Yeah anyone who ordered late September get their gold 5s yet? I ordered 64gb gold 5s on 9/28 and it still says processing, estimated ship date 11/4. I have a bad feeling that it won't come by the estimated shipping date... :(

I JUST GOT A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION! My phone is in Pa, scheduled to arrive in NC on Monday. As previously stated, a 16 GB gold 5s ordered on 9/29.
 
I've called verizon customer care twice in the last couple of days. Both reps indicated that a large shipment of iPhones are going out tomorrow (10/24). The second rep believes mine would ship tomorrow although the online status page is unchanged. I'm not going to hold my breath but I can hope.

32gb silver on its way to me as of this morning at 8:30am. It started in Memphis, TN and it's still there. Ordered on 10/11, Scheduled to deliver 10/28.

your order status will not change till it ships and it should ship next week
 
Got a tracking number!!! :D

En route from PA to arrive to me in NY on Tuesday. Though since its 2 Day shipping I would except it to arrive on Monday?...

Ordered on October 4th, original estimated delivery date was November 11th. 16GB Gold.
 
When does the 14 day return clock start running? Day phone ships? Day phone is received? Presumably not the day it's ordered, or else some people's 14 days would expire before the phone even ships!

I think it's the day it's delivered, but I'm not 100% sure.
 
Yay they finally charged me. Hopefully that means I'll get it soon :D I've never been this excited to see a transaction post on my internet banking lol.
 
If you placed an order when Verizon was having the glitch/promo the week of the 28th your orders are shiping now per my source ! Gold Iphones are on the way
 
Yup. Ordered 64gb gold on 9/28, card was charged this morning, and I got shipment email about an hour ago. I was hoping it'll get here Friday but it's coming tomorrow! :D Now I just have to deal with the whole keeping unlimited data mess when it arrives.

I am assuming you took advantage of the unlimited data upgrade glitch/secret promo/whatever you want to call it. I did as well. My phone arrived Monday and the contract paper work stated I still have unlimited data and so does my account on the verizon website. :cool:

Yup haha. Did you have to switch sim cards or were you fine without switching? I'd like to just keep the pre-installed sim card if possible but I don't want to have to deal with 30 minute phone calls to Verizon and politely discuss why they have to give me back my unlimited data.

I was coming from an iPhone 4, so I did not have another SIM card. Used the preinstalled card without any issue.

My wife upgraded from an iPhone 4S to 5s. She was able to keep unlimited data (ordered on 9/28) after a follow-up call to VZW, but she recently noticed that her hotspot feature has been removed. I haven't read that anyone else has experienced this, but beware it could happen.

Can't you just add it back on through myverizon? Or call VZW?

I can add it back through myverizon by paying $30/month for what they call the "4G Mobile Hotspot" package. Before it was free. Let me know if you end up with the same issue. What phone are you upgrading from?
 
I ordered a silver 32GB late last night with next day shipping. I wasn't expecting delivery today but I haven't gotten any kind of shipping confirmation yet. The silver and space grays are showing available immediately now on the web site.

Also, I did have the charges pending on my credit card but now they're not showing any more.
