I can add it back through myverizon by paying $30/month for what they call the "4G Mobile Hotspot" package. Before it was free. Let me know if you end up with the same issue. What phone are you upgrading from?

Ohhhhhh. Wow that sucks. I never had that package -- I would have loved it and been livid if it got taken away. You should try calling them! I'm kind of in a weird situation. I had the silver 5s at launch but then took advantage of the unlimited data glitch/promo and ordered a gold 5s. Then the return date on my silver 5s came so I had to return it and I didn't have a phone to use in the meantime so I exchanged it for a 5c which I'll be returning today or tomorrow after I activate my gold 5s.

I am assuming you took advantage of the unlimited data upgrade glitch/secret promo/whatever you want to call it. I did as well. My phone arrived Monday and the contract paper work stated I still have unlimited data and so does my account on the verizon website.

I was unfortunately not as lucky -- my receipt says 2gb. I first called up VZW with the 800 number on the receipt. I got a guy who clearly sounded annoyed and fed up (I don't blame him :p) and he told me to just activate it and then call customer service afterwards. So I activated the phone and logged on to myverizon and it had changed to 2gb; one call to *611 and I got a super friendly guy who fixed it straightaway. I was really happy and he was so nice that I asked to talk to the supervisor and let him know that the guy I talked to was awesome and super courteous. All's well that ends well! :D

Were you able to keep your personal hotspot feature? We were able to keep our unlimited data after upgrading but the hotspot feature is no longer included.

Sadly I never had the hotspot feature included to begin with. I would have fought tooth and nail for it if I did though.
