when ordered, delivery was by 10/7

just got confirmation email with delivery still by 10/7

I want to keep telling myself there's still a chance it could come on launch day
 
Not Smooth....But done.

Tried many times via upgrade link attempting to transfer upgrade(loophole) but kept getting "EPCD Error). Then attempted just upgrading eligible line, same error. Logged completely out and then got pre-order option at log-in and it worked this time!! It made me add a data plan to the line, I know thats the new policy with VZW! Hopefully they will let me take it off once phone arrives.
 
Ordered at 3:30am trouble free. Used my iPad. Got my confirmation email about an hour later. I was able to sign up for edge, but had to call to get my plan switched to the single line $50/m plan. 64gb space grey 6 eta 9/19
 
After tons of EPCD errors, finally went through at 3:30 est white/silver. 6+ 128gb, 9/19 ship date
 
Verizon, as of this morning, is stating Oct 7th and Oct 14th (model depending) on their site. The only lure to order from the carrier for me is that it appears Apple wants me to completely change my plan. They're only offering up to 5000 texts at $20 and I must choose a new data plan. Nothing on the unlimited talk I have. Not sure if that is standard. VZW's site is allowing me to keep my plan.

I didn't order yet but I did want to see delivery dates.

You can remove the "data plan" from the new line, but you will have to put a dumb phone in its place at $30 per month instead of $40 per month
 
I went into Verizon site at about 2:57 a.m EST and was out in 5 min. with a 9/19 delivery date.

I was very surprised at how smooth it went...So smooth that I felt like I forgot something....
 
Finally got through at 5AM EDT

Received by confirmation email this morning but, the monthly bill total it shows is not reflecting the $25 credit towards my access fee that should be there on the EDGE plan.

For the people who got their iphone6 this morning. Anyone of you guys had that "loyal program 60 bucks a month for 2GB of data" were you able to keep your plan and still upgrade? Or did they force you to change your plan? My sister trying to get the phone but looks like there is an additional per month charge of $30.00 to her plan. Looks like Verizon will remove the plan if you do the upgrade. Anyone else?
 
Sure it was smooth sailing as long as you didn't have a corporate discount applied to your account and you where faced with errors for hours on end.
 
Ive got both of my email confirmations but when i check my order status on time it just says order being processed with no delivery date info. One of my space gray IP6+ shows 9/19, the other says 10/7 and they were ordered 10 minutes about between 3am and 3:10am

And that is normal really. The system is under a super heavy load give it a few days to work itself out.
 
My 3:05am order details used to say it would ship 10/7 (email/website said 9/19) but now it doesn't have any expected ship date at all. Should I be worried? Has this happened to anyone else? :confused:

No don't be worried. The system is under a heavy load. If your confirmation email says you are good, you are good.

Thanks for the reassurance :) hopefully all is fine... I hope I still get in the 9/19 shipment. Doesn't seem right that their website could say it on the final page of my order if it would only get pushed back to 10/7.
 
Ordered my phone with no issues. It went really smooth! Was in at 2AM CT
Check the site out.

Did you order as a new user or upgrade? I upgraded and it was a hassle. Had to call their CS who helped me complete the order nicely.

I went through that mess this morning. I text chatted with Verizon customer service and they told me that I should just pick a data plan (of course) and then when I get the phone to call customer service and they will change me back to the $60 plan if need be. I trust that about as far as I can throw an elephant so I saved the conversation and printed it out but I figured it was worth a try. Then I bought the phone from apple directly since pickup at the apple store around the corner was 9/19 and verizon was back-ordered a month by the time I was done. Your results may vary, but give them a call.
